Sounds fantastic. I really agree with Karla. If people don't understand, then they probably aren't the kind of people you will be happy working for Hazel

The cover letter sounds good. Should do the trick. Best of luck! Now you'll get to shop for an interview outfit! Karla

Good for you, Ronna! I will say a prayer that you find the perfect job. I have also started looking for a job and other than what I do from home, I haven't worked in a few years. I have an interview Wed. and I'm so nervous. I'm happy you asked the question about, What do you say about the huge gap? I'm was wondering the same things. Good Luck Kay

Ronna, Just my two sense ... I think the CL sounds great. When they call you for and interview and before the interview. I would get with your HR friends and find out what has changed in the last 4 years as it relates to employment laws and such so that you could drop a few lines during the interview that indicate you have kept up in the industry while pursuing other interests. Also, I think that most employers should be aware that 2002/2003/2004 were awful years for most and that there were tons of professional layoff during that time. God Bless! Jen

I've been in close contact with my HR buddies all this time. We try and get together at least once a month and thanks to them and the internet I am up-to-date on changes in employment law. But that's a good point. Never hurts to brush up on things. Thannks Jen
