IT was a year ago tonight we were fasting!!!

Hi all; It is hard to believe that it has been a year tonight that all the jan 23rders were getting ready for the surgery. Monday is our year anniversary. Tuesday is our date anniversary..What a year it has been. I know that I have not been posting much,but i have been here in spirit all the time. I started this journey at 357 pounds and am now at 215. I had hoped to be under 200 by now,but i will take it...Life has changed dramatically..I was almost a prisoner in my own body...I was short of breath,full of sleep apnea,joints that were failing me and basically a self loathing..I am doing things that I thought I would never experience again...I do not dread events and new opporrunities now.....Life is really unfolding again. I have started to take baths,which i had not done in 15 years. Last year I was going to take the bath tub out and put in a stall shower,because I was sure that I would be basically handicapped for ever. Last month I remodeled the bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. I love it!!!I have gone from a size 32 to a 14. Even some 12 are fitting okay..Life is good. Congrats to all the January surgerversaries....It seems like all have done a great job....Be healthy....patsy
