What's on the Menu for Saturday
Hey...I guess April & Kay are busy girls today...thought I'd go ahead and post since it's 7:00 p.m. CST. I judged elementary UIL contests today for our school district. It was oral reading where the student read a poem and we judged on expression, tone, etc. They all did a great job and made it hard to score. We certainly didn't want to hurt any little 5th graders feelings! My son had to be at the HS today at 6:45 AM to go to a powerlifting meet so it has been a long day. I was home by 12:45, ate, took a nap, and then got busy doing chores. I'm just about done and already cooked supper. He just called and will be home in 15 minutes or so. Guess I better hurry so I can go to the school to pick him up.
B: crustless ham/cheese quiche
S: protein coffee
L: chili w/ pinto beans and RF cheese
S: SF popsicle & 2 Tbsp. peanut butter
D: sauteed shrimp and chicken
S: cottage cheese w/ true lime, splenda, and protein powder
vitamins: done
liquids: 104 oz.
protein: 95 - 100 grams
exercise: arm wt. workout and 30 minutes on bike

Hey Karla
I had a pretty lazy day today. We sat around on the couch all day and watched movies and caught up on Young & the restless. I just got up to find something to cook tomorrow. I got my crockpot cookbook out to find a easy chicken recipie to throw in there before I go to bed tonight. I have wanted to snack today more than normal. I know it's because I'm not doing anything else. I still don't think I did too bad today. 4 more days til I can have a big salad!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I miss lettuce
Here's my menu for Day 6 of the PB diet....
B~ 1/4 c. egg beaters and 2 slices of canadian bacon
L~ 2 oz steak & 1 scrambled egg
S~ 1 tsp. of peanut butter, SF jello w/ 1 tbs. of sf cool whip AND small handful of sunflower seeds (in the shell) .. not all at the same time.
D~ 2 slices of roast beef and 1 slice of cheese rolled up & carb/sugar control yogart
S~ Protein shake
Protein: 103
Vitamins: on track
Fluids: 54 oz so far
Exercise: I walked to the mailbox lol

I'm going through an eating craze I guess...I'm eating everything I can get my hands on!
Breakfast..small bowl of cheerios with skim milk
Lunch..handful of sunchips
Dinner...two slices of pepperoni pizza
snack...pineapple chunks/ handfull of almonds
snack later will be a...fudgesicle no sugar added.

Hi Karla!!!!!!!!! Boy have I been busy today! It's been backwards also.. usually I work in the early am and get off in the early pm, go to my second job and then finally home. Today, I had my second job off, so my Jack manager had me work 1-9 pm! So this morning I cleaned out my Cruiser (even vacuumed!), did my mile walk, and went in early to Jack to do some training videos I have to have done by Thursday. So I've been at Jack since 11am.. just got home (9:30ish) I'm poooooped!
B- Shake- tried to make a starbucks with some NSA icecream, yeah didn't work lol... but it was till a protein packed shake!
S- Almonds, Small Apple and Peanut Butter
L- Jumbo Patty w/ 1 Sl American and Swiss Cheese, 3 Curly Fries
S- Reg. Patty with American Cheese
D- Jumbo Patty w/ 1 Sl American and Swiss Cheese (no fries! )
That was alot of Burger and Cheese Today... ack! I work 8-4 tomorrow, so will plan better

Liquid: 12 oz NSA hot chocolate, 8 oz decaf coffee, 126 oz water
