Whatcha eatin?/Your PB Diet!
Hi all. Hope everyone is surviving the ice storm! It's getting cold here and windy. I'll stay in the warm house tonight! I'm off work tonight, but I might go to kickboxing....we'll see. Anyway, here's what's on my menu today:
At work:
12 a.m.- 2 oz. tuna salad, 6 WW crackers, salad w/lite casear
4 a.m.- 1/2 c. cottage cheese, some sliced strawberries
Had a string cheese on my 1 hr. commute home, then had light n fit yogurt and pc. of SPAM when I got home.
Protein coffee before dinner
D- I'll have a chicken leg, some red beans n rice, carrots
Exercise: kickboxing tonight at 7:30 p.m.
Vitamins: need calcium
Fluids: 64 oz. so far......

Evening April!!!!! It is soooo cold here! I step out of the house to get in the car for work and its frozen shut! So the dork that I am, I tried to help the defroster and poured some water on the wind shield... guess what. It Froze over! LOL! Ugggghhhhh lol.
B- Protein Shake: 1/2 Banana, 4 oz milk, 2 sc powder, teaspoon peanut butter
S- Protein Shake: Same as above
L- Chicken and 3 fork fulls of rice pilaf
S- Ritz Crackers, Peanut Butter and Banana slices (I'm on a banana and peanut butter kick lately!)
D- Probably something at the Shelter
S- Nothing planned... trying to stop chowing after 9 pm...
Exercise: Nothing Really... Been doing house chores, work at the shelter tonight
Vitamins: None Yet, ouch
Fluids: 8 oz milk, 48 oz water so far...
So far I'm down 3.4 pounds... It's Day 4 Today for me, so hopefully it'll keep going down.

It's really cold here for East Texas. It's been below freezing all day and is sleeting/snizzling here. My sister said it snowed on her coming home from work which is about 45 miles north of here. We may have ice in the morning. School doesn't start until 10:00 am tomorrow, so we can sleep in!
On the menu:

LC/LF Chicken Spectacular & a few nuts

LF cottage cheese/SF jello & a few nuts & later 1 LS/LC oatmeal snack

liquids: 120 oz.
exercise: none so far...spent morning watching weather/school closing reports...meetings all day at school...pooped this afternoon
protein: 95 or so grams

Hello April it is cold here and the kids were off school for a snow day. We have only had snow 2 times this winter. I hate being cold. It is 20 degrees out.
Anyway here is my menu....
protein coffee
chili with cheese
chicken
1 cookie
1 handful of cashews....
1 bite of slim fast Optimium protein bar.
protein drink and I will get in 72 ounces of water.
If I get hungry I will have a banana
Exercise: 2 miles on the exercise bike with arm movements.
Vitamins.....will get done!

Wierd food day, I was in downtown chicago for meetings.
B: egg, cheese, slice turkey bacon
S: profect on train ride in
L1 (yes, #1, 12:15pm) - pickings from cobb salad, it was chopped and they ignored my request for 'light lettuce' - I love asking that, 'light' anything else the kitchen understands but light lettuce? They always think I am nuts and dont get it but I continue to ask because it dominates the good stuff. Picked out chicken, avocado, lettuce, white cheese and spread things out over the plate
L2 (second lunch appt, sometimes I double schedule lunches, 2pm) - cobb salad again, not chopped so picked off the turkey, avocado, some bacon.
S: (?) glass red wine
D: profect - I MUST get my protein!!!!
will eat something later, food is just not interesting right now (gee, wonder why??), maybe during Boston Legal!
Water - pretty good, at 2 liters
Vits - check!
exercise - drove by the gym on the way back from the train station.

I had a busy day today and boy was it freezing outside! I went to my first wls support group meeting tonight and it was really nice.
Here's What I ate on Day 2 of the PB diet....
B~ 1/4 c. eggbeaters scrambled w/ cheese & 1 1/2 slices of canadian bacon
L~ Ground turkey pattie with cheese
D~ 2 oz baked chicken breast topped w/ mozzarella cheese and italian season
S~ Protein shake
Protein: 89 grams
Vitamins: on track
Fluids: 64 oz so far
Exercise: 1.5 mile walk this morning
