I did a little research.. I know that they are "good carbs" but It still seems high in carbs to me. (About 12 grm for 1/2 a cup...avrg) Why would that be okay but not strawberies or blueberries? I agree and this was the point made by my surgeon. He does not like it when we discuss diets, he says its about life change, sometimes you're more focused than other times and being focused is what drives you to success. Who am I to speak, I'm the one that's not lost anything in 3 months but the doc says he's happy so I should be happy....I am in this to be as healthy as possible with good food and nutrition. And that includes fruit and beans. There's no candy or crap in my diet so I can be happy with myself because that's where I am. ~Tiffany

You just have to decide for yourself. Beans worked for me on the PB diet. I ate them every day. I didn't eat anything off the list, and lost over 10 lbs. Remember, strawberries and blueberries don't have protein. Beans do. You can stick w/ meat, cheese, etc. for the PB diet. Hang in there. Karla 337/181/150
