Whatcha eatin?....it's early!
I'm posting early today because I gotta work overnight, and I spend most the day sleeping before i need to leave! Luckily I only work 3 days this week, so it shouldn't be so bad. I need to catch up on some sleep! I know some people are doing the PB diet....make sure you post here too! Here's my menu:
B- 2 oz. SPAM, scrambled egg
S- cookies n cream protein shake
L- gonna have a tunafish sammy, some salad
D- I'll throw a Lean Cuisine in...i don't have much time before I leave
S- I'm gonna mix up a Carnation NSA shake...they're good!
I need to lose about 7-10 lbs. before my annual appt. (2/5). I can do it by eating regular....I need to just stick to it! And exercise always helps me most. We'll see....
Vitamins: need calcium
Exercise: 1 hr. STEP class...used 2 tiers, that's some hard work!
Fluids: 24 oz. so far...it's only 11 a.m.

Girl, today everything and its brother has gone wrong. Because it was so cold last night, we had water problems and actually had to close the store due to sewage back up in the men's restroom! Talk about nasty! We got it all cleaned up and back and running, but were busy alllll day long. My eating and drinking was soooo sub-par.
B- Jumbo Patty with 1 slice Swiss and American Cheese
S- Chocolate Fudge Cake I know I know, but it was like calling me!
L- Cheeseburger minus bottom bun
S- Will make a protein shake for the drive to my second job...
D- I dunno... something provided at the shelter... prob some peanut butter
S- planning on nothing right now...
***But in total, I probably had a small bag of curly fries jam packed to its brim!***
Vitamins: Will go get them now
Exercise: No breaks, except 45 minutes at 9 am
Fluids: 42 oz caff. free diet coke, 24 oz water, still sipping! (only 2 pm)
Hope tomorrow is better!

Pretty boring today. Was suppose to start a PB but was way to rushed and busy. So here's what I had so far:
Breakfast - 3/4 c low fat cottage cheese 1 cup green grapes
Lunch - Protein shake with 1 scoop of hanks and 1 c CC Chocolate Milk
Snack - 1 C Cream of Chicken Soup - homemade fromt he resturant that my Nephew works at - Yummy --- too yummy
Dinner - Will make a broiled chicken breast and asparagus
I think that will do it.
Vitamines are done as well as Iron and one calciup chew will do another later
Excersise - 20 min on treadmill done. Still need to do 30 on the glider
It's cold here and is getting colder. It's down to 33 right now. We may have ice by the morning or we'll freeze at school. I think we'll drive our big truck to school. I'm not getting stuck there in ice tomorrow night with 1200 teens!
On the menu:

SF apple cider
SF choc/mint protein shake w/ carb countdown choc. milk
1 buffalo chicken strip & 1 cookie (I was bad!)
1/2 Pure Protein strawberry shortcake bar (pretty good) & 3/4 c cooked cabbage
Beef/barley/mushroom soup
protein coffee or hot chocolate
vitamins: done
liquids: 100 oz.
protein: about 100
exercise: arm wt. workout (bought new arm wts.), 100 sit ups, and 30 minutes on bike

Hey everyone
I had my 1 year check up with my surgeon today and he is very pleased with my weight loss. He said my protein is a little lower than he wants it to be so I need to work on that. We talked about my hernia's and he said not to worry unless they start to hurt or bother me. He will remove them when I reach my goal weight.
Day 1 of PB diet went well. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anything decent to eat for lunch while I was out of town but I found something good.
Oh, I asked him about the PB diet and he said it's fine with him as long as I get my protein shakes in and not do it longer than 10 days.
Ok, on to food..
B~ 1/4 c. eggbeaters scrambled w/ cheese & 1 Canadian bacon
S~ Cheese
L~ Bojangles grilled buffalo chicken bites & pinto's.. YUM-O
D~ Other half of my chicken from lunch & 5 steak strips from last nights fajhita's.
S~ Protein coffee
Protein: 75
Vitamins: on track
Liquids: 54 oz so far
Exercise: 1.5 mile walk this morning after breakfast.

I would of usually had Lite ranch with them too but I'm doing the PB diet so I passed. I came home and looked up the nutritional facts and they were not bad either. Only 5 fat, 5 carbs and 27 grams of protein.
I know it's hard to do food and protein. I've been trying to do it for a long time. My surgeon is big on protein shakes. Today he said I should do three meals and 3 shakes... I just looked at him like he was crazy. He also said I don't eat enough calories. All I can do is try!
