What a Year!

My daughter and her boyfriend stopped by today to announce they are engaged!!!! We are so happy- they get along so well, communicate, respect each other, have so mu*****ommon, and are definitely in love. I couldn't be happier for them. And Friday is my one year surgiversary -150#s size 18 now from a 32/34 and feel wonderful!! Now I can go shopping for a Mom dress and actually find one that will look not so bad on me! This "tool" and its application has opened all the doors and windows back into my life- I am free from that weight, guilt, and fear. sure, I wear a smaller size, but my health and the ability to really LIVE my life and share with others is the very best part. Thank you all for your constant support/ideas/sharing/honesty/ Now- back to work and we get to plan a wedding for August! Love to all the Januaryites!! cj

Hi Carole~ Congrats on the upcoming nuputials and your anniversary! You and I have some things in common! We both are from Minnesota and We both had our surgery on the same day, but at different hospitals. I had mine done at University of Minnesota- Fairview.
