Daughter lost baby

Hi all, my daughter, heather lost her baby on Thursday, what a hard thing for here to go through. She had gastric bypass June 14th, and is doing great with her weight. She will be ok, but it will take a while. For any of you wanting her pregnancy diet, it was 2000 calories a day and really up your protein and calcium. Rosemary, I am so sorry to hear of you and your daughter's loss. There is group here in Houston - MEND - mommies enduring neonatal death. It is a support group for mother's who lost babies from miscarriage to still birth. If you have a group like that maybe your daughter could attend. This is the website for mend and it has resources for other groups and such that may help your daughter. http://mend.org/about_our_purpose.asp I have had two very tragic experiences with death in my life, one was a miscarriage I suffered and the second was my mother's suicide, both happened within a few months of each other in 1996. I am not sure which one was harder. they were both devastating. More than 10 years later, I still mourn the loss of both of them. God Bless! Jen
