Hey gang! I cant seem to get the weigh in off my mind. I have been so good in the past year and have never gained any weight and now this past two weeks I have gained about 4-5 lbs. I am almost to the point I dont want to eat. I know its not good for me and dont know what to do. Maybe its water weight from that time of the month but dont know since I really dont get that anymore either. I made sure I got back to the gym when I got home from vacation and went on Sunday and tonight. Anyone have any ideas? I sure could use some help! I am just beside myself on this. I know beating myself up over it isnt gonna help but I dont know what else to do! Thanks for any input! Suzette

Suzette, Try not to worry about it and just eat back to basics so increase your protein and try to stay away from snacks. I have been fighting the food monster every NIGHT as it seems to be really bad at that time lately. It also could be either water gain or your bodies way of readjusting to the changes...Perhaps you are losing inches and not pounds. Please eat though (even though I hear what you are saying) Good luck and stay encouraged you have done great so far. ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

You'll be fine Suzette. YOu're already so thin. Maybe your body doesn't want to give up any more weight right now, and it could be water retention. I'm w/ Chris. Try Plateau Busters for a few days and it won't hurt you. Just stick to it. Karla 337/185/150

Really concentrate on your water intake as well. This helps me a bunch when I am retaining water. Helps to flush out all the bad stuff! You will be ok. At least you are working on it and not just letting it go! Leeanne

Suzette, we are in the same boat. I weighed myself again this morning and I gained another 2 lbs. I don't understand! Am I broken or what?! I cant even focus this morning. like you, I'm afraid to eat. I made myself eat breakfast this morning. Like you said, maybe it's water weight cause it's getting close to that time of the month. Thanks for posting, it helped me know that I'm not alone. I hope your scale starts moving in the other direction soon!! Kay

Suzette, don't worry so much.. 5lbs you can handle it's probably jus****er and adjustment in your body. Are you going to the bathroom regularly? I'm fighting constipation more now than I did in the begining and having to take a laxative every now and then. It's something to think about. Our bodies inside and out have gone through HUGE changes eventually things will level out Good luck! Anna

Here's another idea....STAY OFF THE SCALE!!! I really had to learn that. When you weigh yourself everyday, it's so easy to become discouraged. Do the back to basics, keep up with the gym then go weigh yourself maybe 4 days from now or even a week from now. I know for days in a row I'll be up 3lbs. then I'll stop getting on that damned scale for a few days and when I get back on it...it's nice to me. Also as someone said before make sure you're going to the bathroom regularly. This may be TMI, but my bowels were actin up and when I was able to go there was a 2 lbs. loss...in a matter on minutes! And this has happened more than once. *DISCLAIMER*: For everyone.....this doesn't mean you should go out and get a whole bunch of laxatives to make you dump. I know some people right now are thinking about that as an option since I mentioned it. Let it happen au naturale! Going over laxatives is just a other bag of worms that shouldn't be opened. Suzette, just give it time...it'll come out in your favor. And relax....it's 5 lbs. I'm sure you can get that back off. April
