B2B #6/Whatcha eatin on Sunday?
Hi all. Hope everyone had a good day. I woke up early and went to this cardio party exercise class...i'm pooped. It was wayyyyy tougher than I expected not to mention it was 1.5 hrs. long. It was a great workout nonetheless. Since then I've just been hanging out at my parent's house. And I weighed in at 165 this morning...down from 172 Jan. 2. Wow is all I say. All I really did is started making better snacking choices and kept up with my exercise. Anyhoo...here's what I had today:
Last night I got a little off track and had 100 cal pack teddy grahams, handful of protein cereal, then had a Pop Tart when I woke up at 4:30 this morning. I certainly worked it off this morning!
B- scrambled egg w/cheese, 1 lite sausage link, biscuit
L- turkey and LF cheese rollup on top of salad w/lite ranch drsg, cucumbers, and few croutons
I snuck a couple cookies and cashews before dinner
D- 1 oz. chewy pork roast...couldn't take it anymore! Also 2 tbsp seasoned noodles, some broccoli
I'll have my protein shake soon and I'll probably have some yogurt and cheese later during Desperate Housewives.
Exercise: 1.5 hrs. at cardio party
Vitamins: need to take the rest
Fluids: 80 oz. so far....I'll be getting my Dunkin Donuts iced coffee soon
Sounds like you got a lot of good exercise today, April.
Day 6 has been fine so far. I did accidently eat 1/4 of a tortilla chip at lunch. I was dipping a chip in chile conqueso and licking off the cheese and it got soft and I couldn't get it out of my mouth...at least not in the restaurant. I'm down 6.8 lbs. since Tuesday. Maybe a few more ounces at weigh in tomorrow, maybe not!
On the menu:
SF Apple Cider
Coffee
1 pc. spam and 1 1/2 eggs
Protein Mocha Latte
2 oz. Fajita Meat, 1 Tbsp. Chile con queso and 1/4 tortilla chip, 2 Tbsp. beef & 1/4 c pinto beans
1 c split pea/ham soup & 1/2 c chili beans
1 c cottage cheese w/ protein powder

Robin, remember that you had this surgery for YOU! What you ate is what a normal person would eat...as long as you're comfortable with it, then it's fine. If you're not comfortable then I'm sure you know what changes to make. Are we supposed to go through the rest of our lives not satisfying ourselves?? No....we had this surgery to become healthier. My menu looks similar to yours somedays and you know what? It's fine. I'd rather be happy with a few oreo's than all depressed because I ate some french fries, and fried chicken one day. Our lives have been renewed....let's live it. Thank you for posting and being so honest!
