My Surgiversary Too!!!
I'm a tad late in posting, but today, January 6th is the 1 Year Anniversary of my own RNY Gastric By-Pass with an added Silastic Ring through Dr. Antonio Coirin in Modesto, California.
I have gone from 393 pounds to 210 pounds. From utter fatigue and joint pain to energy to burn and only hurting when I do "too much". I have two jobs that keep my on my feet on average 11 hours a day, if not more... I am rarely aching and could stand to work a few more hours in the evening.
I am excited about this upcoming year... I'm going to be more independent. I have online classes that I WILL complete (kinda slacked off in the school department this past semester). I am in the process of being promoted at Jack- to a Shift Leader, oh yeah! I am working on paying off my bills and looking into the possibility of finally moving out on my own.
I have my first Plastic Surgery Consult on Tuesday with a doctor in San Francisco and another consult with a different one in February. I know its early to look into it, but I want to be prepared with what I want for my body. I will have to live with the results for the rest of my life, and I want to be proud of my body. I plan to wear a bikini at the beach next year and strapless gown on my wedding day, when ever that comes around...
This sure has been an amazing ride and I definately wouldn't have been able to do it without any of you! You guys are my angels, you're my rock, you're everything. Thank you for EVERYTHING!
Jaci
Oh sweet girl,
The changes you've made this past year are amazing to say the least. You have come so far and I know that you have a very bright and healthy future to look forward to.
You inspire me and more importantly you make me laugh! I get tired sometimes just by reading your post and wish I has just a small part of your energy.
I know that great things are ahead for you Jaci. I look forward to meeting you in just a little over 2 weeks from now.
I have a big hug I've been saving just for you
Ronna
Jaci,
Happy surgiversary to you. You have lost so much weight and have come so far. You've done exceptionally well and are just gorgeous now. You do seem to have a lot of energy since you are so young. Be glad for the better life your weight loss will bring you. Good luck w/ the plastics consultation.
