one year today!! life i good!

January 6th is here, AMAZING. I cringe when I see pictures of myself from one year agi, DISGUSTING!!! At 290lbs last year today. What a difference a surgery and a year can make....I am 134 lbs now!! thats 156lb loss. It feels like it was only a couple months ago that I laid there in a hospital bed in extremem pain, all groggy from anasthetic and the nurse was telling me "sorry there were complications, your surgery began laproscopically and ended up being open, we have increased the dosgage on your morphine pump.....blah blah blah......" that day when i woke up and every day after it for weeks to come (long recovery for me****pt asking myself "what have I done?" "why did i do this?" although it didnt take me a whole year to answer, i do know now that things have to get a little worse before they can get better, and that PATIENCE and COURAGE are more important qualities in a human than i ever thought they were,....sorry for rambling on....I guess this could have went on my profile page lol......... anyone else whos special day is the 6th: HAPPY SURGIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
