Back to basics Day 3! How did you do?

Hi everyone.....Today went better for me than yesterday. After I posted my menu I went and ate bad things...I had about 5 bites of a banana cake, and cheese and then had three M&M's and then just before bed I ate about 10 Hersey kissables. I did not exercise and was pretty disappointed in myself. So today I pledged to do better. I woke up and weighed the same as yesterday so that was a good start...Hope everyone did better than I did. B~coffee with protein and about 8 baby shrimp....(Not at the same time) S~2 slices of low fat cheese L~refried beans with melted mozzarella cheese... S~2 sugar free popsicles.... D~ 2 pieces of boneless chicken bite size and cheese off a slice of pizza... S~cottage cheese... I do plan on drinking a protein drink or maybe more water.... Vitamins in Exercise 2 miles on the tread mill and burnt 437 cals according to the tread machine tracker... I hope to stay on track for the remainder of the night.... ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

Don't you feel like just telling somebody helps? I did after my cheese curl bing last night! I have done ok today except I was too busy to eat and will raise heck getting in enough cals and protien. I had a meeting at work that was supposed to be 2 hrs and lasted 4. I to work at 7:00 a.m. and didn't get lunch until 2:15. B-Egg Beaters/RF Cheese L-Homemade Broccoli soup D-Fish stuffed with broccoli & cheese (if I get it down before bed!) S-green pepper/Cottage cheese dip/4 RF crackers 52 oz. water so far 547 cals 47g prot with out the fish 697 cals 67g prot if I get the fish in Leeanne

I have survived day 3 so far. Boy in the evenings would it be fun to munch on things I shouldn't, but I haven't given in so far. It is tempting, though! 7 more days w/o carbs sounds like a long time. Green beans, cabbage, etc. sure sound good right now. I was down another 1.4 lbs. today, so that motivates me. I try to think of getting on the scale when I wake up and seeing a smaller number, so that helps. I feel like I'm running to pee every hour, day and night! I am not drinking anymore than usual, so some must have been water weight I'm shedding. On the menu: Coffee Crustless Sausage/cheese quiche AchievOne Cappucino 2 oz. roast beef & 1 c lima beans SF Apple Cider LF cottage cheese & SF jello coffee & 2 tsp. peanut butter (not at the same time!) 3 oz. Ground chuck patty w/ LF cheese ???hopefully nothing liquids: 96 oz. so far, probably more water before bed protein: about 80 grams; may have 1 c protein hot choc before bed to get more vitamins: done exercise: 30 minutes on bike, 100 sit ups and arm weight work out Karla 337/191/150

I did pretty good today, not perfect, but okay. B- coffee & protein bar S- Iced tea & a few peanuts L- protein bar & water D- 1/2 cup home made veggie soup...(opps a few carbs) S- homemade peanut butter-protein balls (yummy) I did manage to get in some water today but mostly hot and iced tea. I got in all my vits. I jogged (walked a little) on the tread mill for 30 mins!!!! (big accomplishment for me!!) Tomarrow will be even better!! Cathy

Evening Chris! I woke up this am and weight 1.4 Ounces less! YEAH!!!!!!! I guess my bad day had ot have a tiny perk, eh? My Meals For Day Three (Thursday) B- Almonds L- Jumbo Patty and Cheese S- Chicken Patty- ick! S (after work)- Cheeseburger minus bottom bun D- Cheeseburger minus bottom bun, tiny bit of curly fries S- Almonds Water: 140 Ounces Vitamins: Check! Exercise: Not alot of work at Jack, some jogging() at my surgeon's seminar Tommorow is my 1 Yr Appointment with my surgeon, I hope I'm down more weight!

well yesterday went great.. except i didnt get a chance to exercise! all vitamins in and water B- protein bar S- cheese L- 3 pieces of chicken bites S- 3 saltines with peanut butter D- chicken with cheese and 4 bites of pasta i am down 3lbs as of monday!! YIPEE that helps keep me motivated

Hi, I have not been posting lately but I am with ya'll on this. Eating some veggies, however, as I dont think I'd do #2 without some fiber. I seem to pee all the time. That's usually a sign that I am about to drop weight. But I have not looked at the scale and wont until Monday. Cheers, Tiffany

Hey Everyone! Kinda tanked out on Day 3 but am back on track today! Breakfast: Egg McMuffin with egg and cheese and only half the bread Snack: Handful of peanuts Lunch: 3 oz. roasted chicken - no skin Snack: Handful of peanuts Dinner: This is where I tanked...I had Chinese steak with some rice and sauce (it absolutely KILLED my tummy) and a bit of ice cream cake (it was celebratory...I HAD to!!) with a million sprinkles! Vitamins - Check Water - Baaaaaad Exercise - Walked the mall for a couple of hours...does that count?? Starting B2B weight: 173 Today's weight: 170 Have a great day! Jersey
