~ I decorate the house the day after thanksgiving and I put the tree up, the first weekend in Dec.

~ Dressing w/ gravy

~ I loved christmas eve. The anticipation was great. Mom in the kitchen cooking and baking and my dad running around trying to get stuff together without us knowing. We always ordered pizza on xmas eve and drink hot chocolate

~ My oldest brother told me when I was 10.. so mean!

~ No

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child? Watching the tree at night in the dark with my sister. I just told her last week, I still do that... I sit and watch the tree twinkle in the dark room and feel like I'm 9 and she's sitting with me! (she lives in San Diego)
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? I don't remember. I think my older brothers spilled the beans if I remember correctly.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT! but I don't live where we get any!
12. Can you ice skate? Yes, when I was growing up my hubby would take me on dates when I was 15 or 16 to an ice rink. But it's been years! Oh my!! Guess what??
I'm skinny enough to go skating again!! Without breaking the ice
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? Yes, it was a trampoline and these boots I wanted when I was 13.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Spending time with my family and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? My MawMaw's fudge. She hasn't made it since my PawPaw died. (9 years ago) but told me she's making it this year if she can remember the recipe. She's 80 does everything homemade and writes NOTHING down.
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Spending Christmas morning with my family. No guests - nobody just my family. My boys. It's just special.

Really it has happened to me though. My husband's sister does that. And we get gifts we've given them in the past or worse USED gifts. I got a half burnt candle!

Neither. I will admit I have never tried egg nog...the name just skeeves me out. And any hot liquid makes me ill (always has).

I don't specifically have a favorite. I remember the holidays being very exciting and wonderful when I was a child.

You know, I am not sure. I knew long before I let my parents know I knew, though! I did not want to break their hearts!

Yes. I have a childhood tradition that I have carried over to my family. On Christmas Eve, we give each other a new ornament for the tree and a pair of new PJ's. That way, you are always comfy and cozy Christmas morning.

My son is still too young to do this but, when the time comes, it will be chocolate chip!

Dread it. Hate it. Would be PERFECTLY happy NEVER seeing it again!

Probably not. I have not tried since I was in the 6th grade but I remember spending far more time on my butt than on my skates.

~A variety of homemade goodies.
