Has anyone had plastic surgery yet? and when will your doctor let you? I am almost at my goal (10 more pounds), and I am so ready to lift up my poor boobs.

My surgeon had said not to even think about it until 18 months post op. As $ is tight, I'm trying not to think about it yet. Anyway I still have another 20 or so pounds to go.

I talked briefly to my friends plastic surgeon last week-my friend had WLS 4 years ago and just had her lift and implants done as well as an upper eye lid lift-her durgeon told me to definately wait until around 18 months to make sure my weight has stabilized and he did mention that even though I am around my goal depending on if you go by mine or my surgeons he said the body can still change and adjust sometimes months after getting to goal especially with exercise-is he right who knows but I am not going to worry too much about ps until next june

I am going for the TT, BL, BA on Dec 11 (my GBS was on Jan 22, 2006) I am scheduled for an Arm lift and thigh lift on Jan 2, 2007. I am at my goal weight and won't see my GB surgeon until after my PS. The PS surgeon said I was ready, I am ready. I expect to lose a few lbs with all the PS so. I am 5-5 and 135. I can't imagine weighing less that 125. I refinanced my house for the $$$ to do the PS. I am so excited!! For me I am just wanting to keep the momentum going. I figure once I heal from the PS. I can really focus on working out, but I know the skin is not going to go away without surgery. I have yo you dieted to much in my life and my elasticity is shot!!!! Anyway, enough about me!!! Good luck to you! God bless your journey, J. Marie

I had my bypass in late Jan 06 and had breast implants done in Oct of this year. I had to get a medical clearance from my PC to have it done so early, but it all worked out.
