Man...I was doing PERFECTLY three weeks ago. I was the protein queen. WTF happened? I cannot seem to stay away from BAD, BAD foods! HELP!!! I NEED MOTIVATION!! I really want to make goal by my one-year surgiversary and it is SO realistic (8 lbs a month for the next two months) but it is NOT realistic with the way I have been eating. Will SOMEONE KICK MY BUTT PLEASE?!?!?! Love you all! Jersey

Bring it over and I will give it a kick...If I can lift my leg thast high...You are kinda tall! Increase your water and see if thast helps. Sometimes for me it does. (It can take away the craving for me) I bet you WILL make goal in time. I am 21 pounds from goal and don't think that is possible for me to reach by Jan 30th....Good luck! ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

DITTO...! I need to be drop kicked..! I am in the same boat..!!!! Work has been in my way with all the traveling I have been doing but in the end, I guess that is just an excuse. When it comes down to it, we made the life altering choice to have this surgery. We are now running on version 2.0 of our selves. We may not get a chance for version 2.5. If we fail, it is of our own doing.. I am going to forget all those people that say you look fine and don't need to loose anymore weight. These are the same people that asked me why do I need the surgery in the first place. My plan is to reaffirm my commitment I have already committed myself to, I will find that grove I need to stay committed to this life change, I will come back to ObesityHelp.com and contribute more to be a part of our community, I will start and continue a workout regiment that I can maintain regardless of where I am, I will continue to take all of my vitamins, water and protein intake and finally, I will attend as many meetings as I can to help me get through this. That's my plan. What's your plan Jersey Mom? -Lee

Like chris said, you are too dang tall and my legs are way short. Yes, I'm jealous! I'm a shorty! Anyway, hang in there. Eating is hard and it looks like for the majority of us, it will always be a struggle with us. I wish they would come up with a wls for our brains. Hell, they come up with everything else. The only thing that helps me stay on track is planning my meals. break., snacks, lunch and dinner. Try to stick to it and don't eat anything else except sf popsicles and drink lots of water. I know that's easier said than done it's just a suggestion. Make sure you eat a good hearty protein. They seem to keep me full longer I know you can do it! I have much faith in you. Keep that goal in mind!! We love you too! Kay

Hey Jersey consider your but kicked, I'm tall enough to do it Don't be so hard on yourself. Fill your house and your desk at work with things that you can eat and get rid of the junk. Lots of times out of sight is definately out of mind. Get that Pro-pudding from vitamin shoppe or Luna Bars in Peppermint Chocolate - tastes great and very holiday like. It feels like you're cheating but you're not They are very yummy and this is coming from a chocolate freak. I also would like to be at goal by the next time I see my surgeon and that's on January 15th. I only have 7 pounds to his goal for me (mine is 20 pounds less) but it's a struggle. My scale is in yo-yo mode. By the way, I love the new picture

Is it near that time of the month? I bet it is. Sit back and take a deep breath. Drink more water and find something that crunches to munch on when you want that snack. Maybe keep nuts around, they crunch, have salt and protein. I bet in a week you will be back on track. Even if you don't get back on the same track, try upping the exercise, bet that will off set the small amount of the wrong food you are eating. We can't eat alot, there fore we do less damage when we do eat wrong. And really, unless you are eating sugars and high fats, you probubly will be fine in the goal area.

You look great in your new pic! Make yourself get back on track w/ protein, water, exercise. You're the only one that can do it. I know it's hard. I've struggled w/ it lately too. Karla
