2 funny WOW moments
I work on a college campus and both of these events happened this past week.
WOW moment #1
I was in our campus bookstore and ran into a young lady who is a former student & has a brother who is a current student. She saw me and her eyes got real big and she said "Miss Susan you got little! You're tiny!!!!"
I don't remember EVER being called tiny.
WOW moment #2
I was leaving one of the buildings on campus yesterday and saw a co-worker heading into the building so I called out to her. She looked all around and finally looked back at me in shock. She said she thought I was one of the students coming out of the dorm. She called me "Miss Skinny".
I love being called "Skinny"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am currently wearing size 14 pants and 12/14 tops. Yesterday I had on a P/M suede vest that buttoned over my ribcage but not over "the girls". I think that is what really showed off my new size.
Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!! Remember, turkey is our friend. Mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing & pumpkin pie are like old boyfriends we want to avoid.

Congratulations on the WOW moments. Those are both great ones. I'm making a Sugar Free Pumpkin Pie and a LF/SF Peanut Butter Pie and SF sweet potato casserole. I don't care much for dressing, and we have sweet potatoes in the deep south, not mashed potatoes. I'm not a big turkey fan, either, but will eat a little of my son's fried turkey (which sounds greasy, but is not)

I love fried turkey!!! My husband's uncle makes it and I love how moist it is.
I'm making a crustless SF pumpkin pie as well as the full sugar version for the rest of the family. As for sweet potatoes...it's just not Thanksgiving without them. I have to make my husband's granny's recipe for Sweet Potato Pone but I've been making it sugar free for years and no one can tell the difference.
I'm having the family here so I will be fixing a ham, the turkey, dressing, gravy & mashed potatoes as well as the above mentioned items. Needless to say, I will be sending leftovers home with folks.
