Hey guys! I wanted to say hello and start this board moving some. I know it has been really slow! I thought I would do roll call and see if We can answer some questions... 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? 3) What's the weather like in your area? 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? 5) Do you shop on black Friday? My answers: 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? CLOTHES AND MORE CLOTHES... 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? YES, WHEN I WAS MY HEAVIEST I DID NOT WANT PEOPLE BUYING FOR ME! 3) What's the weather like in your area? COOL BUT SUNNY! NO SNOW SINCE THE BEGINNING OF OCTOBER! 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? MY KIDS GET UP EVERY YEAR BEFORE 6AM, START THE COFFEE, SORT THE GIFTS, TAKE THE DOGS OUT AND WAKE MY HUSBAND AND I UP AT 6AM AND GIVE US COFFEE, THEN WE OPEN GIFTS ONE AT A TIME. 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? YES I USUALLY DO BUT NOT SURE THIS YEAR. MY USUAL ROUTING IS UP AND OUT BY 4AM AND I GO OUT TO BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER AND SHOP IN BETWEEN. 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? NO NOT THIS YEAR. 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? I would love another Coach Handbad, clothes from Hollister or A&F and another pair of the supersoft PJ's from Gap Body. I bought myself a pair and they are the most confortable PJ's I have ever owned. 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? I would have never wanted anything to do with clothing before. 3) What's the weather like in your area? A bit cool but not to bad we are still in the 60's at nite and 80's in the day. We will never see snow. 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? I love that we put up our tree as a family on Thanksgiving day every year. 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? Of COURSE! I get up by 3 am and the nite before I have all the sale adds out and the order I will goto the stores. 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? I am at a total loss for my husband this year. We tend to buy what we want for ourselves throughout the year so when Christmas comes I have a horrible time getting him anything.

1. The one thing I really want is a Marc-Andre Fleury hockey jersey. I love Pittsburgh Penguins hockey 2. Not really. My husband has always gotten me 'jewelry' (I call them my 'flash attachments) for Christmas - I have my eye on the 'Journey' necklace that keeps being advertised. 3. The weather is cloudy and cool. My biggest complaint about living in the Pittsburgh area is NO SUNSHINE......... 4. Baking and decorating Christmas sugar cookies with my children and putting the bubble lights on the Christmas tree. 5. No, I stay away from the stores on Black Friday. I typically do my Christmas cards on Friday after Thanksgiving. 6. My husband. He is the hardest person in the world to buy for - so trying to find that 'special' something for him is ALWAYS a challenge. Rose from PA

And an iDog for my iPod 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? * YES! I don't mind people buying me clothes anymore... before ick... they'd be hideous or too small and I'd have to go through total embarrassment to get them exchanged or returned. 3) What's the weather like in your area? * Cold I think its in the 60s-70s, but I'm freezing. It rained Sunday- power was out and everything! 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? * Hmmm... I think its the whole getting together with everyone. We're so busy that I hardly see my cousins, but we all come together at Christmas. 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? * I've always wanted to, but no shopping for me... I get to work at LB though! 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? * I haven't even though about gifts! I have to get off my bum and think think think!

Hi Chris, good questions 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? I love jewelry so that's always great. there's nothing that I *Reallyyyy* want. 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? Not really..but I think it's harder for others now because my clothes size varies so much..depending on brand. Before they could just buy 2 or 3x and it would fit. 3) What's the weather like in your area? It's cold and rainy here..a very super slight chance of snow tonight 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? It used to be the family getting together..but now we all live so far apart..it's almost sad on holidays. 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? No.. I used to hate shopping period...but I'm the Christmas eve shopper..lol 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? No. I don't buy anything for my husband because he never likes what you get him...so we go together and he buys what he wants. Hugs, Anna

Hi Chris 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? I actually already got it. My brother got me tickets to see "Mama Mia." We are going on December 27th 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? No I alway loved getting presents 3) What's the weather like in your area? Rainy and cold. Typical November weather for Chicago. At least it's not snowing, well not yet anyway. 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? We always spend Christmas Day with my Cousin and his wife. She celebrates the holiday and the house is all decorated and there is usually a fire in the fireplace. Last year we watched the Bears roll over the Green Bay Packers before dinner. It's usually a really fun day 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? Never All my shopping is done by Halloween or soon after. And in the past several years, I've done the majority of my shopping online. I will not go near the malls after this week. 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? I've purchased ALL the gifts already.

Good Questions!! 1) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? ~ A toy poodle.. white, cream or black 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? ~Yes, I want stuff for me! I usually ask for stuff that go around the house or mickey mouse stuff. Now I want clothes and more "me stuff". 3) What's the weather like in your area? ~ It's been really nice. Around 62 with a little sunshine 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? ~ Christmas evening we sit around the fire, drink hot chocolate and play games. Win Loose or drawl is a game we play every year 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? ~ Yes, I cant wait. I get up around 3:30 am so I can be in walmart line before 5:00 am 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? ~ My daughter wants a carolina game**** bathroom so I'm looking for the shower curtain, hooks, rugs and other accessories to go around the bathroom. Hola - I have some time today so here's my thoughts... ) What is the one thing you really want to get as a gift for the holidays? the perfect tall black boots that fit over my still muscular calves and are the exact right heel. 2) Has the way you feel about getting gifts changed since surgery? Gifts? No issue, sometimes I get wishy washy when groups of people start fawning over me. 3) What's the weather like in your area? Winter is a coming...actually, winter is here. 4) What is the one tradition you love the most? I've stepped away from my traditions and would like to get back to them. I miss having someone to go to church with for the midnight service. 5) Do you shop on black Friday? How early do you get up? Hell no, its my day to hide. Actually, I find deals around 3pm that day when the intense people are taking a break. I hate traffic. The night before I go thru the flyers with my sisters who are out by 5am. My birthday party is that night this year so I have a diversion. 6) Is there one gift you are searching for, to get for someone special? I would consider it the best gift of all to find someone special (if even for the nightz)
