Be Careful!

Hi all. I forgot to mention this yesterday about what happened to me. Yesterday morning, I took a sleeping when I got in from work. Then......the dayum plumbers started knocking at the door (*******s). They weren't supposed to show up until today, but yesterday was the day. Anyway, that's a story for another day.... So I was in and out of sleep on the couch...I couldn't help it. But when I woke up, there was a bag of pretzels next to me...opened. I didn't remember eating them! I didn't even know how many I had eaten or anything! Later on, I remembered getting up, and getting the pretzels...eating them, but I don't remember anything after that! So just be careful when taking sleeping pills, or you could be eating and not even know it until a lot later. I mean, I still need my sleeping pill, but I'm gonna have to be more careful! April

I just have to ask, were the plumbers still there when this happened? I am more scared for your safety with strangers in your home than you eating pretzels in your sleep. I do understand where you are coming from though, But I would miss you more than any pretzels anytime!! Take care and please do be careful always, Love ya girl!! Steph

Thanks, Steph. I know..I should be more worried about myself! But they were there...fixing away. I was trying to stay up, but I kept dozing off here and there. I tried to call people to come and get me, so that I could leave...no one would pick up the phone! And there was no way I was driving...that would have been a. So, I just sat there on the couch fighting sleep...losing most of the time. That's probably why I was so disoriented when I woke up all the way. I was dozing on and off for only about 1 1/2 hrs. I was exhausted by evening time. April

Well I am thrilled it all turned out ok, I just want you to be careful with you, you have a very hard demanding job, and those patients need you too!! Dont sweat it about the dumb pretzels, hey it could have been ice cream or something! Stay safe girl!! Steph

Hey Lady! I'm pretty sure they didn't. I remembered eating them later on in the day. The pretzels are the least of my worries..you're right. I was okay, and it's just that I was in and out of sleep because I was fighting it sooo much and I had just came the work and the gym, so I was extra tired. At least I called people and told them the plumbers were there, and I had taken a sleeping pill...i left messages anyway April

Pretzels! I so hear you. I am addicted to them. I work in an office and we have a little kitchenette around 10 ft away from me. The girls and I always try to bring snacks. Lately I would bring in a bag of pretzel sticks and would munch all day. I just said ok, I am not even going to buy them and so far this has worked. I used to take sleeping pills all the time and I would totally not remember doing things. That was scary to me. Somehow I managed to ween myself off them. Please be careful more concerning are those plumbers and not the pretzels ya know what I mean. Be safe! ~Norma~
