I was 218 over my goal, and now I'm 35 pounds from it. Isn't it amazing Mary!? I was able to wear my size 16w pants from La Blues in Fashion Bug starting last week! I bought them about a month ago, but they just never "fit" right. Now I wear them all the time! I love the way they hug my legs and give in the right places. I tried on my new jeans from Lane Bryant (size 16) and they're too big in the legs! I look FRUMPY, gotta take em back and get more LA Blues he he.

Hey Chickie: You and I are the same height. I am curious...what is your goal weight? Did your doctor give you this goal? Mine didn't...infuriating! Thanks! Jersey

My most recent WOW moment has to do with wearing size 12. I have bought 3 pairs of jeans - two from the Gap and one from NY & Co. I wear a regular store XL or even a Large, and realized last weekend as I went to Lane Bryant with a friend that even if I wanted to I could not shop in there anymore. Now THAT was a big WOW for me.

When I started out I was 187 lbs. over my goal weight. Now I am 46 lbs. over my goal weight. Doesn't seem too much anymore. At 2 lbs. per week avg. loss, I know I should be there in 23 weeks, hopefully. That's not too bad! My other wow is: I had on a Coldwater Creek shirt the other day and went in my office and my secretary said that's cute, is it CC and I said yes. She said "what size is it?" and I said it's a large. and she said "I wear an XL!". That made me feel good, because I have never considered her large or overweight at all. Granted, she is several inches taller than me. Karla 337/196/150

Great post, Mary! I have had a couple of WOW moments this week. And I never get tired of them! My first was shopping Monday night with my sister. Just the realization that I can now look and shop in almost any clothing store was amazing. I was wearing a tight 22/24 when I started this journey. Now my pants are a 10 and my shirts are a Large (and I think I could probably fit in some mediums now). I bought a size Large Big Dog sweatshirt from mail order and tried it on the other night. It was WAY too big. It made me think I should probably order a SMALL...not even a medium when I replace it. Wow! Do any of you have "friends" that are fun to hang out with but are, essentially, total *****es? My friend had WLS March 2005. She has yet to reach her goal but her weight loss has been amazing. When I told her I bought a pair of size 10 jeans at The Gap, she let me know that Gap clothes are WAY bigger than other stores (***** *****!). Well, I guess NY & Company pants are WAY bigger than other stores...because I bought a pair of size 10's there, too. And I guess Tommy Hilfiger is also WAY big because those jeans I got at an outlet this weekend were also a 10. And the COOLEST jeans ever (I have to take a picture and post it) from the Disney Store...I guess those run huge, too...THEY were a size 10. Is my friend a ***** or what?! But the wow is that I actually believed her but she is WRONG! Another wow...two people this week told me to stop losing weight because I am getting "too thin." This is a rather annoying wow but for someone to tell you (foolishly) that you are too thin is kinda groovy! One more wow (hope I am not boring you!)...as of this morning, I am 7 lbs from a "normal" BMI! Final wow...in my class yesterday, I got up from my chair to put my coat on (I was FREEZING) and my co-worker said, "Damn, girl...you need to quit this job and become a model." WOW! Love you all! Keep those wows coming! Hugs, Jersey
