Wow Moments?
My latest wow moment came last night at parent-teacher conferences. My best friend and I had back-to-back appointments with our daugther's Kindergarten teacher. Well her stupid ex-husband and his new wife showed up for the conference too. Now I haven't seen him since the day before he left my best friend. Their daughter saw us waiting for our turn with the teacher and screamed as loud as can be.... "Aunt Susan and Uncle Lyle are here"... Her dad was like, "Where - I don't see them?"... So Lauren ran out grabbed my hand and pulled me into her classroom. Her dad's eyes were as BIG as quarters when he saw me. He never said hello to me (which is fine), but his "at-a-loss" expression was a HUGE wow moment for me.
Susan
That is a WOW! How cool!
Mine...I was able to sleep on the couch the other night, WITH my husband. We were able to do this all night. First it was a WOW that I could fit, second was cause my joints didn't hurt so bad that I couldn't be confined to a smaller sleeping space.
And...today I wore a short jean skirt with black tights to work. My boss stopped right in her tracks and said WOW, you look great. I don't think I have ever seen you in a fitted, short skirt. I laughed and told her thanks. And then let her in on the secret that I had pulled it from some of my daughters boxes she still has at our house of stuff that didn't fit her anymore!

Lately so many people I have worked with over the years that I see about every few months have not recognized me at first until I start talking to them then there mouth just falls open and they say Tori ....its a little embarassing for someone like me who likes to shy away from attention and crawl under a rock ....
Another WOW is a few months ago I started wearing my 15 year olds old jeans that she had before she lost about 20 pounds now she wears a 2.....
HAVE A GREAT DAY
TORI
I keep having wow moments, mostly it's people not recognizing me. Just had that happen when I was voting with the lady across the street. Now part of that is her eye site is going, but I had to say who I was. With miocular loss, she can only see the outside shape, not the face, so that was a wow moment.
I keep having family not know who I am either.
But the biggest is seeing myself in the mirror everyday, that is one continuous wow for me. And the fact I look forward to doing house work!
