Good Morning Ladies Last night it got down to 29 degrees. I had the heat cranked up and still could not shake that chill in my body. I slept in flannel PJ bottoms, a long sleeve tshirt, a short sleeve tshirt and socks. I was still cold. I kept waking up. So do you know if we are always gonna be cold every winter or is next winter gonna be better because we have adjusted to the new body size I'm hoping that it's just this winter. I don't know how much more I can stand! I really wanna go to Flordia for a couple of weeks! I'M FREEZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girl, I think we are going to have to deal with freezing from now on cause I live in California and our weather is not freezing but I feel as if I am living in the Artic. I am shivering like the little Taco Bell dog. Before having it 68 in the house was my comfort zone, now my feet are freezing and I am wearing a jacket. I hate to start using up the heater cause it's expensive for the gas bill, but if it continues I'll be cranking it on. Prepare to get lots of warm clothing. I know I am asking for gift cards to Fashion Bug/Lane Bryant for my gifts this year cause I need clothing!!!!

I[m right thee with you. I'm developing a relationship with everything "fleece". I've taken my EBAY earnings and bought alot of new winter stuff. Sweatshirts and sweatpants, Fleece tops and yes even pajama's and I never wore pajama's before I even bought slippers and I'm a "barefoot girl". But I'm so cold ALL the time it's just not funny.

If it's the least bit cold, I freeze and shiver. I used to sweat all the time. Friday night after sitting out in the cold for 5 hrs. at the football game, I thought I would never get warm. Karla 337/196/150

Aye, I'm sooo with you! I have FIVE blankets on my bed and sleep in sweats and I'm still freezing! I am cold 24/7... at work I wear long sleeves under my uniform even when I'm working the grill which is like a desert!

Ok, so I live in Houston, how cold could I possibly be? Here is a sampling of my sexy bedtime attire. Turtleneck under a Sweatshirt PJ Bottoms under Sweatpants Two pairs of socks winter hat to keep my head warm - I pull this sucker all the way down around my neck and way down in the front to cover my entire forehead on the bed Veluxe blanket two thick knotted cotton blankets a worn out down comforter how freakishly cold must I get? I should take a picture you would probably pee your pants laughing. Because the turtleneck is BROWN the sweatshirt is GREEN with RED, GREEN & BLUE Christmas trees the sweatpants are navy with two baby blue stripes on the sides of the legs the socks are cream the hat is pastel pink oh, I am a vision of loveliness!!!!!! ...and I am going to PA in 5 day where I am going to seroiusly freeze my hiney off! I will be wearing 4 layers of clothes to bed. I found the most wonderful feeling electric blanket at Linens and Things - BUT - it is $150.00 YIKES! I may have to splurge for it to take on my trip. God Bless! Jen

I posted this same question on the WLS Graduates board to get an answer from some folks who are farther out than I am. The consensus was that it gets better but does not go away completely. What most of them said was that they still had days that they felt cold and other days that they felt normal. Shoot, I was having cold chills even before I had the surgery. I thought you were supposed to have hot flashed with menopause! I'm gonna be a popsicle by January when it really gets cold here. Susan
