An Update!
Had my interview Wednesday- wen't well. I actually know the girl who interviewed me! I have a really good feeling about it... although alot of the traffic while I was there was all spanish speaking. I asked about it, and she said if hired, there would usually be a bilingual person with me to make sure everyone could be assisted... sounds like they've already discussed lil' ol me
My liquid diet went well too! I wasn't physically hungry, just fought the head hunger. It did win when I went home- I had a small cookie Then it made me feel sick. I feel soo much better from my binging, I think I'm going to do it today too. It's going to be uber hard since I'm working at Jack today... but I'm soo gonna try. Maybe it'll be 90% liquids a power crunch bar at work? I dunno... I'll figure it out. But man! From my binging I went from 206 all the way to 219! That's alot of puffiness!!! I know, now, that potatos and rice and olives and chicken all mixed with cheese at 11:30 at night is not the greatest choice in the world I have to be at work tomorrow (Thursday) at 4 am- I slept from 5-10:30 and just weighed (10:45pm), down to 213- maybe more before I go to work! Amazing wha****er does to you isn't it!? I'm gonna continue to guzzle and continue my liquid diet- I wanna be in Onederland for next Saturday!
Ok Chickies, back to bed I go...
Night!!!!

Guess I missed the posts, but only liquid will make you hungerier and more likely to binge. If it were me, I would mark out the protein bars, ones with less calories per protein gram, and have those thru out the day. Lots of water of course. But you are not only risking the binge thing, but also putting your body into starvation mode.
Just my insight, comes from not drinking when eating thing.
My best friend is over 3 years out and several, I believe 3, of the people she knows who had the surgery at the same time drank their way out of the surgery, with protein drinks. 2 are having revisions soon. You can get so many more calories in with the drinks and they don't keep you as full as food. Just let the surgery work for you. Protien first, keep it thick protein, eat 6 small meals a day and no sugar or carbs. You still have a year to loose, so just give it time. Don't set goals of weight of by a date, that is the old habits.
Our loss slows down as time goes by. We loose 5% of our weight a month (I think it is 5%) That lb. number goes down every month, because the weight we have to loose goes down. Don't fall into the habit of dieting, that is how we all got so big. That is why I don't like the PB diet, or the liquid diet or ... Dieting doesn't work. Just make sure you have changed your life when it comes to food. If you are binging, then you probubly should go to a support group or maybe a councilor. Just my thoughts.
Jaci, you are doing so well. Don't sabatoge yourself. You look great, have taken charge of your life, have confidence. That is what life is about. Living, not food, not diet, not grief we give ourselves. I really want you to go out and take the world by storm. You are going to do it.
Thanks Kristi. I always appreciate everyone's responses to my questions I definately don't plan on doing this forever, he he. I'm keeping the cals low, my surgeon did warn us of drinking ourselves outta the surgery.
The six small meals is a tiny problem with my schedule.. but the bars should help
Thanks, again Kristi!!!
I am so out of the loop What Interview? Where?
Also, I am glad you feel like you are gaining control with the liquid diet... I do warn that its ok to get back on track, but don't make a lifestyle out of it. Its hard to sustain and can lead you down the path of eating disorders. But, I thinks its ok to just do it for a bit to restructure your eating.
Anyway, good luck with both the interview outcome and the liquid diet.
