***Julie C updates...

Hey January 2006 peps! here's some updates on Julie from the Alabama board.... Original Post by Teal Rose at 2:11 PM CST on 11/01/2006 Chickasaw, AL - RNY (10/11/2004) Hi Bama Family, Susan's post asking about Julie prompted me to call and check on her. Thanks again Susan. I just got off the phone with her and she is feeling pretty low. Her fever spiked last night, but she is on antibiotics and said it is down to 99 now. They did not remove the PIC line. She won't let them per the radiologist until they prove there is a staff infection. Her surgeon wants to call in the GI doctor one more time, so she is waiting for them now. She said she feels worse than she has ever felt. I am really concerned about her. I don't know how much more her body can take. Keep praying HARD!!! She really needs prayer!! I will try to check on her again later, but we have our small faith sharing group tonight right after work so I'm not sure if I will get a chance. If anyone would like to call her, she is in room 814 in the Providence Hospital. You can call her room direct at: 633-1814. When and if I hear something further, I will let you all know. Hey Bama - Julie saw the gastro doc today - she will have CT of abdomen with barium contrast tomorrow. Please pray that she will be able to get and keep enuf of the nasty stuff down for them to get a good picture and determine what's wrong. She appreciates all your prayers and concerns and she said she would love to hear from yall - just call for a short talk and don't be offended if she says she does'nt feel like talking right then. Oh that Barium Contrast is the worst!!!!!! Before I left the hospital after my surgery I had to have one done to test for leaks. {{{JULIE}}}
