My Morning From Hell - On Halloween- Caution Graphic Description

I just got home from the hospital. I had what is called a Mammatome Biopsy on my left breast. This was the worst procedure I ever had to have. The biopsy itself was painless but the stuff before....... There is this table that has a hole in the middle of it. They expect you to lay on your tummy and put your "boob" through the hole....Yea right. With my frozen left sholder and the pinched nerves in my neck.....let's just say that I was in agony and sever pain during the entire process (about 2 hours). On top of this my Surgeon got stuck in another surgery and they had to get ahold of one of his partners to come and do the biopsy. Once the Doc got there it when pretty quickly. But all I have to say that some Sadistic Man had to think up this procedure.....it was jus ridiculous. After, they put steri-strips to hold closed the small incision that was made to do the biopsy and put an ice-pack inside my bra, then wrapped me in an ace bandage. I feel like the Mummy! Anyway I am home and it is over. Now is the waiting for the results. I still don't have results from last Friday's biopsy on the right side cause I didn't see my doctor this morning and I still don't have a surgery time for Friday. I have a call into his nurse to see if she can give me some info but this is very frustrating.

Once I was able to get up and move around I was fine...I just could stay still in the position they wanted me to be in. I just heard from my Doc's nurse and of course she can't tell me anything but the results are there. She did at least tell me that I'm scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday and gave me the number to call the hospital for pre-admiotting. It's so dumb I could have done all that today too. Now I'll hve to go back another day for the pre-op stuff::

Oh, Mummy! I am so sorry to hear about your morning from hell. You would think that with all this technology, they would be able to find a better way to do these tests. Oh Ronna, I'm soooo sorry you had to go through all that pain! Hopefully its for good though.... sending good and happy vibes your way my dear!

My gut says if there is anything, they got it in time. My thoughts are with you. Please keep us informed and know we are thinking of you. Have someone go get you some sugar free reeses pbuter cups or something like that so you can chomp while handing out candy to kids. Or jus****ching tv tonight. Give yourself a big hug from the inside. Know it is from us.

Ronna, I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this! I know the waiting is the hardest, well except for having to stick your boob through a hole and hold it there!!! You continue to be in my prayers. Leeanne
