Changing Breasts?
I need to know that I am not losing it. To the ladies here... have you noticed your breasts have changed A LOT since having WLS? My girls have "flattened" -- sorry it's the only description I have of them, LOL I'm pretty faithful in doing breast examinations every month in the shower, but here lately I have NO idea what I'm feeling. I don't know what is a gland anymore because my breasts have changed so much. I mentioned it to my girlfriend who works for my GYN and she made an appointment for me to come in today at 4pm. I'm just feeling things in my breasts that I don't recall ever being there before. My friend pointed out that whatever I'm feeling could have been there all a long, and was hidden by fatty tissue in my breasts.

...or it could BE fatty tissue that you are feeling. I know that when I run my finger along my arms now, I feel little lumps...I think it is the remainder of the fat that was once there.
Yes...my girls have changed, too. I called them my "shrunken kiwi's" if that gives you any indication of how they've changed!
I am glad you are getting checked out!! Let us know how your appointment goes!
Hugs,

Hi Susan-
I've been lurking for months, but all I have to say is I could star in my own National Geographic spread. My breasts are practically down to my waist and are just skin - it is really gross! I always thought I would never go for plastic surgery (can't afford it), and if I did - I thought I would use is for the tummy or arms - not anymore! I would do my breasts! They are the most disturbing of the body changes! Yikes!

Hi Susan,
My headlights are definitely pointing south! They look terrible but thank goodness for being able to find bras to hold them in. I too feel a little bit of fatty tissue but it's good to get it checked out. Hope that's all it is and good for you on getting in to see your doctor for peace of mind!

Flattened is the perfect word! Mine are the exact same way. I have gone from a DDD to a D cup so they are really flat. They also seem to get longer and longer everyday. It's horrible but I deal with it. My teacher(RN) said the exact same thing your friend did about it could have been there all along but hidden by fatty tissue.
I hope your appointment goes good and everything is fine.
Kay
