Okay...it's official. I am a Back to Basics failure. I never seem to make it past Day 5. I think that is because, both times I did it, I started on a Monday. During the week, I have no problem being perfect. Everything falls apart on the weekend. Ah well! I think I lost 5 lbs the last time I did it...and 5 lbs this time. Not too shabby! I will continue to do this program until I hit goal...but I am only going to be a "Week-Day Back to Basics Chick!" How did everyone else do?? Love and hugs, Jersey

Jersey, I wouldn't say "failure". That's 10 lb.s girl! I think the fact that you are giving it your best effort is enough. You are an inspiration. I too jumped on the band wagon, but fell short over the weekend. It did me good, just to think about what I had been shoving in my face! Leeanne

Thanks, Leeanne... That was actually the good thing about doing the program...it made me realize how badly I eat normally! I mean...if I stuck to the basics from the start, I would have made goal long ago. But, ah well...can't change the past. I will start another one in a week or so...I hope you join me! (I am going to make it a 5-day deal, though...week days only!). Love and hugs, Jersey

you are certainly NOT a failure, I can't even get through ONE day. I have tryed to start with some of you, but I am so embarrassed, that I can't do it I don't even post what I ate. 5 pounds a week is amazing, I have been stuck for a few weeks now, and I would kill to drop 5 pounds...I know what I need to do, I just don't know how So again, you are NOT a faliure, I wish I had your strength! Thanks, Karyn! It truly helped that my husband was away...that made it possible for me! I wanted to stay on the program for ten full days but...ah well! If you can manage, you really should try it...it does seem to work. But it IS hard, I know! I am hoping to do it again every other week or so until I reach goal. I hope I do not stall completely now that I am off it... If you want to try again, let me know and I will do it with you! Love and hugs, Jersey

Thats funny..You lost 5 pounds in 5 days and I lost 5 pounds in 10days and didn't stray. Goes to show you how different our bodies are right? I think you did awesome and should be very proud of yourself! I also think if you do it Mon=Fri that too would be fine and you can look at it like Sat and Sunday are your treat days.. ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris
