The SIZE lie!

Today I went shopping for a pair of Black jeans....I have been wearing size 12 for several months..So I went to Fashion bug and took in the dressing room a pair of size 10 stretch black jeans from LA Blues...Well the 10's were BIG, so I got dressed and went back out and got a pair of 8 and a pair of 6's and tried them on blindly and they both fit..So I thought what the heck I will try the 4's so I returned to the dressing room with the 4's and tried them on..They went up my legs no problem..Over my butt...no problem zippered and buckled..no problem and I could even sit in them...No problem....Now I know I am really not a 4...But DID YOU HEAR Me? THEY FIT!!!!!!! Of course I bought them... I was just thrilled..over the moon and happy as h*ll...... So then I went to Walmart and tried on a pair of black stretch size 6 Lee riders and of course I could not get them over my big butt...I don't care though because I fit into 4's ...And I have proof. Just wanted to share my size lie.... ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris

I remember once going into a Neiman Marcus' store and trying on a size 10 suit. It was gorgeos and a 10 - at the time I really wore a 16 but at Neiman Marcus I was a 10. I did it just for laughs cause I can't afford to buy anything at Neiman's

I need to find a Fashion Bug near me and look for LA Blues.. maybe I'm a size 4 or even a 2 Wouldn't that be cool? I'd shop there forever!!!! Congrats on the size 4's Hugs, Julie

Chris, Now the next time someone asks what size you are.. you can honestly say...I can wear a 4!!! You aren't exactly saying that all of your clothes are size 4,,you're just saying that you CAN wear "A" size 4. Don't ya love it? I'm wearing mostly 8's, but I'd love to wear a 4...congrats...although I would have bought at least 2 or 3 pairs...lol Kathy

Isn't sizeing a total hoot! Depending on style, fabric, and brand, I can wear anything from a size two to a size 8. I can even wear a girls size 14 if they are stretch. Bra sizes are just like that. I have got to the point that I don't really care what the size as long as they are comfy and look good. Hazel
