Good morning! Now that I do not feel like complete and total crap anymore (although I still have some head congestion), I am getting back to the basics again. I cannot really call it a Plateau Buster anymore because I don't think I am in one. I have to say...while I was doing the PB diet (before I became ill), I felt so much better. I often suffer from tummy aches and nausea after I eat but I was completely free of that when on the PB diet. It was NOT easy...and I was hungry...but I found that posting my menu every day really helped me be accountable. So...here I go again. Anyone want to join me?!? Breakfast - 1 egg/1 slice cheddar cheese Snack - Profect Vial Lunch - 3 oz. roast turkey Snack - Profect Vial Dinner - 3 oz. roast chicken (big poultry day!) Totals (Calories/Fat/Carbs/Protein) = 670/22/3/112 Have a great day, everyone! Jersey

Great job !!!!!!!! I totally agree with you on the pb thing it really helped me knock out those carbs I shouldn't have been eating anyway. I have been eating some crackers or lite popcorn but not nearly as much as I was and I feel better. It also helped me finally commit to a liquid protien, I have been drinking my Isopure everyday since I started the PB last month, and that is better than the previous 8 months. Have a great day Tori

That's great, Tori! I agree...the PB helped me get in protein and fluids much better. I was terrible at both prior to that. I think I may have to find a different supplement, though (which is going to be REALLY hard for me) because Profect makes me nauseous every time I drink it now. Maybe it is psychological but, regardless, I hate it! Maybe I can just find high-protein foods and stick with them...after the 10-day B2B diet, anyhow! We'll see! Congtratulations on YOUR success!! Hugs, Jersey

Hey Jersey, I'll join you!! Did you start yesterday or is that your menu you're going to eat today?? I will start tomorrow since the day is half over now. I only got about half way through when we did it last time. I definitely need help being accountable and posting a menu will certainly help. I, too, was much better about getting my liquids in when doing the B2B (I like that term!!) and have been much better about it even when not sticking to protein, protein, protein. As for the supplement issue you're having, have you tried AchievOne lattes? I personally love them and have at least one everyday. I don't know if you're a Frappucino fan, but if you are I think you'll really like them. I drink the Hazelnut, Mocha or Cappucino flavors (not a fan of the vanilla nut one). I get them from a local health food store but you can order them from bariatriceating.com, too. Here's to a successful journey B2B for both of us!! Oh, and I'm glad you're starting to feel better!! Hey Lisa: I started today so you will only be one day behind! No worries! I am glad you will be doing it with me...it is always better to have support! Thank you for the supplement information. I never drank any kind of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, etc...so I am not sure those will work for me...but maybe I will look into them. I am DREADING the next five minutes because I know it is Profect time again...ugh! ;) Good luck, Lisa! Hugs, Jersey

I won't be doing the plateau... but I'm so going back to the basics with you! For the past month I've just eaten whatever I've wanted because I thought I "deserved" it. I've eaten and drank so much crap.... Today is my starting over day and boy is it hard! My head keeps telling me, go get some bread, go get an oreo... just one! (mom and dad got oreos last week). I even gained 4 pounds... I dunno if its water retention, bloat, or whatever... I need to get this back under control. So... today this has been my menu so far... Breakfast: Weigh****cher's Cereal and milk... so yummy and low in cals compared to what I normally eat Snack: Made a shake- milk, sf chocolate, unflavored protein, 1/3 banana- not bad tasting! Lunch: I have some South Beach Pizza planned... Snack: if I want it, gonna experiment with another shake Dinner: whatever mom makes.... I'll let you know. Or else I'll have my shake.... I pledge not to graze and eat only what I prepare and drink all my water without diet sodas!

Yay, Jaci! Welcome aboard! Hopefully your 4-lb gain is water retention but it is great that you are getting back to the basics, too!! Good luck with it! I look forward to your daily posts! Have a great day, Chickie! Jersey

Hey Jersey.... I am glad you are feeling better! As far as the B2B thing I think I have been going nuts since I came off it. I finally lost 3 pounds this week....I hadn't lost anything since coming off of it. I don't understand it. I think I will be posting to Kay's daily meal posts again as they seem to keep me on track...Good luck and hope you are successful as I am sure you will be. I also wanted to say what a Knock out you are in the photo labelled "lady in red" All I can say is you should be on the red carpet....Keep up the great work.. ~~hugs and well wishes~~ Chris
