Brrrrrr!!!

I have been in a frozen mode now for 5 days. I cannot get warm. I can temporarily get the chill out of my bones if I drink something warm, but as soon as it's finished, I'm freezing again. Am I going to be one of those people who are ALWAYS cold? I sleep in a pair of sweat pants, sweatshirt and a pair of thick socks -- not the sexiest thing to wear to bed, but oh well. I was always the type of person who was the warmest one in the room. I never wore a winter coat. The only reason I owned one before was to go outside and play in the snow with the kids. This year I think I'm going to have to buy one just to wear inside my own house. LOL Signed - shivering in Maryland, Susan

I'm freezing too! My feet are always frozen, no matter what I do I can't keep them warm!

Susan, I am so glad you posted this. I was thinking there was something seriously wrong with my blood. I am freezing. I cant even stand to get near the cold section in the grocery store. Like you, it's hard to get warm and if you do, it doesn't last long. Last night I slept in a long thick gown, sweat pants and socks. My partner had on shorts and a Tshirt I have never owned a pair of thermals but this year, I'm gonna buy some. Cold Kay

Boy does this sound like me I am sitting here in a big sweatshirt and fuzzy socks, drinking hot chocolate and I can't warm up. Having this silly cold doesn't help either. I am just always cold lately.

I too am always cold, I just chalk it up to me not having enough body fat anymore and decreased levels of iron. I have been pulling out my old winter sweatshirts that are waaaaaayyy to big for me but hey I'm nice and cozy!!! Dana

I am just down the road in DC... and it has been exceptionally cold as of late! Really, I have been freezing... but I don't know if it is WLS related or just the fact that its finally cold I went to a corn maze on friday and realized that I dont own anything other then a hoodie. Not even a light jacket... have to buy one I guess I hate the cold.

I get cold a lot more now too. I used to not wear coats very often. Now I know I have worn longer sleeves and jackets, and it hasn't gotten below 55 here yet, and is still normally in the upper 80's or 90's. I get cold feet a lot too. I bought a pair of cheap sweats at Walmart today to exercise in and wear around the house if it's cold. I had already gotten a new coat off QVC for under 50.00 to get me through this winter and still have a leather and fox long coat I've had longer than my son. It ought to finally fit well again and look good this year. I drink SF hot chocolate and hot tea a lot now. Here's to getting warm! Karla 337/202/150

Hey Susan! I am always cold, too! But I always was (I think it is my low blood iron)! Maybe you can invest in an electric blanket. When I was younger I had one and it was the greatest thing...I always felt SO snuggly! Hope you find some warmth! Love and hugs, Jersey
