Things people will say

I was working at a garage sale at our church yesterday and another lady was hanging up a couple of pieces of clothing of mine. They were both leopard print and she was trying to put them together. I told her one was a robe and the other pajama bottoms that didn't have a top. An older man was standing there from our church and he said "Boy that must have been some hefty matronly ladies stuff". I just said "No, that was FAT Karla's clothes"! He normally jokes around a lot, but just turned around and walked off. I thought it was funny, I guess it was kinda of a "Wow" moment. Another older lady came up and introduced herself. I told her who I was and that I had met her when we both helped with the garage sale last Fall. She said "Oh, you must have lost a lot of weight!"
