My Very Wonderful, Nearly Perfect Day!

Today was one of those rare fall days in Chicago. The air was crisp but still in the upper 60's so you didn't need a jacket. The sun was shining and the leaves on the trees have started to turn beautifjl colors of red, orange and gold. I had been wanting to go check out this new mall - Premier Outlet. It's in a Southwest Burb and my sister moaned and groaned about it being too too far. Well I made her go anyway. And we had a great time! We got there about 12:30 and didn't leave until 5:30 and I walked the entire mall!!!!!!! It's an outside mall so even though we shopped out hearts out we could still enjoy the great weather. Anyway what made it even better was shopping at the Liz Claiborne store - one of my favorites. And I bought my first piece of regular size clothing A pair of slacks size XL 14-16 I can't even remember the last time I worn clothes that weren't Plus Sized....oh yeah 23 years ago when I did the Optifast Fast. I can't tell you how good it felt. I have a very wonderful, nearly perfect day! Sending hugs to you all, Ronna

Ronna, Sounds like a great shopping spree. We have a Premier Outlet mall about an hour from us & I loveeeee shopping there. I was just there last weekend & I bought a couple of things from the Liz Claiborne store too. I could never afford the full price, but I love her clothing!! Did you try the Jones New York store? They have some really nice things too. And then there's the Ann Klein store, and the Banana Republic and the Old Navy and the list goes on & on & on.......I'm glad you had a good time & I'm really glad that you were able to walk the entire time. Well I'm far from teeny. At 5'9" I'll never be teeny But it did take some prodding to get me to go look at the regular size clothes. But it was worth it
