Long time no visit

Hi all, It has been MONTHS since I stopped by this website. I did want to stop in and say hi though and see if I am on track alongside all you guys with regard to weightloss, etc. I am officially a member of the special club, yes, I have lost over 100 pounds. It sounds strange to even say it. But, 120 pounds are truly gone. This puts me at just over 31 BMI. So, just obese. My surgery date was 1/24 - do I seem to be right on trac?. My Dr. always says I'm doing fantastic, but I guess I need some reassurance. I still want to drop 60 more pounds and I really hope that this will happen. I find that I can eat more than before, and I have to keep an eye on the time because somethimes I feel I am eating too fast. But I chew like crazy and I think that may help me in the long run. My problem is though that I still don't think I get enough of anything. I am really dehydrated and I still eat less than 1000 calories a day (for the most part). A typical day work day is this: Breakfast: 8 oz. organic fat free milk or a Cascaders natural yogurt drink (sweetened with fruit juice) Lunch: maybe a half of a small Roast beef sandwich w/ 1 slice swiss cheese (eaten over 45 min to an hour and it weighs like 3 oz.) Otherwise, if I had yogurt for b-fast I have my milk, and vice versa, if I had the milk in the A.M. I'll drink the yogurt. Dinner: Maybe 1 cup of bean chili or some chicken with a veggie. And I usually eat a Dreyers fruit popsicle. Now this isn't to say that I don't snack on other things throughout the day, but it isn't much, most of my other time is spent trying to get liquids, but I usually fail. I LOVE water, but I find that I just CANNOT get it in me in a large enough quantity. My Dr. thinks it is because I somehow don't like water, that I am used to other things, but I am not. H2O has been my No. 1 favorite drink for as long as I can remember. Is this an issue for others still 9 months out? Well, that is my update and I hope to visit more often and talk some more. Good to see you again!! It sounds like you are doing great!!! I am only at 85 lbs so congrats to your accomplishments! I am strong with my water and get 3 litres a day but I am emphathise. Try lemon juice to make it a bit easier. Keep in touch and I hope you are going to Vegas with us! Tiffany
