Melissa More or Less update

I had been wondering why we hadn't heard from Melissa and was wondering if I should post something yesterday and low and behold, she called me this morning. I was really glad to hear from her. Melissa didn't move into an apartment. She said they had been traveling w/ her husband's job and had been in Dallas for a couple of weeks. Their home is still in Livingston, but everything is pretty much in boxes. She said they are still living in hotels during the week. She called to tell me she is having her skin removal surgery on Friday, October 6 at Renaissance Hospital in Houston. She said they will remove skin from her inner thighs and her stomach, which should be about 50 - 60 lbs. I told her that's a way to take off some of the pounds quickly! She said she'll probably be in the hospital for about 4 days or so. I told her to call me when she gets home or I'll try to get her on her cell phone. She will recuperate in Livingston since her husband's family is here. I'll have to be a good southern belle and make some food for her when she gets home. Please think of Melissa and pray for a quick and easy recovery. She said the dr. told her at least 8 weeks until she could exercise. Karla
