Autumn Challenge
Now that a new season is upon us all, I thought I would throw a challenge out there for everyone:
This fall, do something to celebrate the new season and the new you! Something that you would have not done before. Something that would have made you think twice considering your weight in the past.
I am going apple picking on saturday. I would have stayed back before, because I would have known that I would have gotten sweaty and it would have been all huff and puffin for me. Not now. I am going, and I know I will have enough energy to enjoy it.
So, everyone, get out in the fresh, crisp, fall air. Enjoy a physical activity this fall season and come home and have a warm cup of sugar free cider!

Sounds good, Mary. I'm decorating 3 fall shirts this weekend. I'm excited because it's gotten into the 50's a couple of mornings here. One w/ pumpkins, one w/ a cute witch, and one w/ fall leaves.
I'll have to figure out what new autumn thing I'll do. We don't have any apples around here. I guess I could rake leaves when they start falling. I hate to rake. My dad made me do punishment raking when I was young and I just wait for my husband to do it or make my son rake. I'll think of something more fun than something I hate to do.

Hi Mary,
I like your challenge idea. Thanks for the motivation. Apple picking sounds really perfect for Fall. Isn't it great to be able to know you can accomplish something like that now! No more huffin and puffin. I will definitely try and think of something to do outside since Fall is my favorite time of the year. Our weather is in the mid-70s for now but it's beautiful. Anyways, have fun with the apple picking and let us know how much you enjoyed it.

Hi Mary~
I live where there is a lot of farm land (the garden state..lol). Anyway, there are several places that make corn stalk mazes driving distance from my home. I'm sure the kids would love it but I never had the courage/engery to take them before. I think this year we might start a new tradition.

Hey Dawn,
We had just done that last weekend with our two boys, a 5 acre maze! We rode a hayride to get there and back, it was real nice. The whole time I kept thinking, wow, I wouldn't have done this last year. Or I don't think I would have fit through this without turning sideways. It's funny how things come into our heads like that. Anyway, the kids had a great time. I think we are going to go back again at night soon, they have "flashlight nights" oooo scary! Hope you get to go.
You look fabulous by the way, great job!

That sounds fun... I went threw a corn maze once and did not know that it was "haunted" (like a haunted house). I really freaked out when the chainsaw man jumped out from behind some hay bales and chased us. Needless to say, corn mazes now make me nervous... but I have been to a few others that were just regular ones that were fun. I would have to stop to catch my breath before and now I am certain I could do it unphased... so go have fun. I am sure your kids will love it. Hope you don't get too lost though!

My beig challenge (at least for this week) will be clearing out my closest of all my too big fall/winter clothes and sort them out into :
1. List on EBAY and
2. Donate to Juvinelle Diabetes
Then I will be taking the stuff to the drop off place on Sunday. I already have 4 big black trashbags full of stuff to take.
That's a workout in and of itself.
He he he.... Next time T is up and we have nothing to do... we're going to a new restraunt in town called Big Bad Bubba's BBQ. They have a mechanical bull. I was at their place a few towns down in February and was too self conscious to even think about riding the bull... now, I am SO riding it! I just gotta get the oomf lol! Wish me luck!
Enjoy the apples!!!!
