I JUST WEIGHED
I finished the plateau buster saturday but went an extra day because I couldn't weigh until today. I just weighed and I lost 8 pounds, I have now lost (102) I am now 138 and I have 16 more pounds to loose to get to goal....woo hoo.
I must comment on this mornings post about the diet. I was embarassed with my family about doing a diet after I had made this no more diets life changing decision etc.. however I thought about it alot and came to the conclusion it is not very much different from the program my dr has me on it is simply eliminating the extra carbs that I was eating and starting to feel a little out of control with, I think this last 11 days has helped me get back on track and I am going to eat more like it on a daily bases with the ocsassional carb.

I realized after I wrote the earlier post that I should have added that the PB is a way to return us to how we should be eating on a regular basis. From what I read of what people are eating, it looked like the posts of the early days. That might be why we slow down on the weightloss, we get away from that 2oz. meal of protein, and that is what the pb does, gets us back there.
So instead of it being a diet or what ever, just a return to basics is a good way to look at it.

I am in day two of my PB for lack of a better word. I have been really good at being accountable for what is going into my mouth...Plus now that I am drinking more water I am able to go regularly to the bathroom these past two days as I have been constipated frequently since surgery... I know too much info..
Anyway I guess after reading Kristi's posts about diets I have given it second thoughts and am going to continue to eat this way for the next 10 days to see where it gets me. I did hid my scales and will way myself on the 28th and then go from there. It is back to basics so perhaps I will now call it BAck to basics day 2....Congrats on the weight loss...
