Good morning OHer's!!! Just thought this might be of interest to a few of us. I would be pleased to be a 14 or 16. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060912/ap_en_ot/fashion_size_matters Teresa

Ohhh I read this article the other day and had a good laught. I bought a new dress a while back and it was a size 4, when I told this one lady about it she just looked me up and down and said, well we all know that sizes aren't what they used to be. I just had to laugh at her. Oh well! Dana

It was only one dress, I seem to be solid in 8's and 6's and there for a while I hope, cause I have bought a ton of clothes lately!!! I love shopping! Dana

This is true. I graduated in 89 from HS, I wore a 14 and weighed 145 -150. Today I wear a 14 and weigh 201.6. Fifty plus pounds wearing the "same" size. Yeah right, who are we kidding. Sizes today are way way way bigger than 15 or so years ago. That being said - I love my 14's and the occasional 12's and thatn one size 10 I almost covet. God Bless, Jen

True, it used to be that 0 was the smallest size out there, now they have 00 and 000. I know because my daughter is a size 000 (must be nice) and all her "cool" clothes (teenager) have to be ordered in that size, unless she wants to shop in the kids section still, which sometimes I make her do

Jen, I know what you mean. I was a 22-24W in college 50-60 pounds lighter and a 24W 50 pounds heavier before the surgery. They adjust the misses and the plus sizes. Teresa

Teresa, That was a great article. I'm very happy though to wear a 6/8.
