please help, I'm sick:(

I feel like a big baby, but this is the first time I have been sick in over a year, so i am feeling a bit whiney. I just have a cold, but i am miserable and don't know what to take for my sore throat, runny nose and sneezes...help! Thanks, hugs to all. Karyn

Sorry Sweetie, Colds are no fun. I had a cold about a month ago and too Tylenol Cold/Flu during the day and Nyquil at night. I also sucked on sugar free halls to help the sore throat. Also hot tea and chicken broth can't hurt Feel better soon Karyn. Sending hugs, Ronna

You can take any cold medicine that doesn't have nsaids in it, like asprin. So any tylenol cold med will work. Also, try dayquil and nite quil gel tabs, they desolve fast enough that we get it all and it works the best. Also take Tusin DM if you have a cough or chest congestion. IT works the best. It might have sugar, but not enough to hurt I don't think. Check with a pharmasist(sp), they have over the counter meds for diabetics if sugar is a problem for you. Feel better. I use to have chocolate ice cream with coke poured over it in a bowl when I was sick, don't know what I will do now.

Any cold/sinus meds should be okay. Chloraseptic now makes a sore throat strip like the Listerine strips. Walmart sells them. Hope you feel better soon Karyn. Karla

Hey Karyn: I agree with the others...the Tylenol cold products usually work pretty well (although, unfortunately, nothing really works for a cold...you just have to ride it out).
