Syndi, Some times I have such gas pains it nearly knocks me down. It comes and goes depending on what I eat. I love salads, but they kill me. I have tried everything from Beano to Phazyme. Nothing helps.

So sorry you've had a rough time of it lately, but glad to know you are doing well now. Your post is a good reminder for all of us as our bodies are quite different from other patients and signs or symptoms that may be minor in a non-RNY patient are quite the opposite for us. Hey everyone,
I haven't been posting much as I've been running a lot. Has anyone else been experiencing severe gas? I was told that I am now Lactose intolerant and to take Lactaid. I am taking so much of that stuff that I'm considering buying stock! I'm not so sure it's working and not really sure what to do about it. Anyone else had this problem or have any suggestion?

God YES, I just turned 39 and I have the worst "chicken neck" in the world. I believe it's because I've been heavy my whole life. I am seeing a plastic surgeon April 6th for an evaluation for a lower body lift. I'll keep everyone posted about the info I recieve. Good luck,

Margo you are doing great. I was a sweet eater also. It tends to stick with us. I now eat sf pudding or sf ice cream and it seems to curb that want. I never drank water preop but now its like second nature.

OMG.... I feel exactly the same! My BMI crossed over last weekend! Isn't it amazing! I just wish I could see myself the way others see me!
