I realize with the long weekend a lot of you must be busy, so please don't hesitate and please, please, please continue to post!!!!

This is a great idea. I wondered what has happened to everyone!
1. How much weight have you lost to date?
I've lost 137 - 141, depends on which scale & what day
2. What is your height and starting weight before WLS?
5' 6", 277 lbs. (heaviest was when admitted to the hospital for RNY)
3. Have you reached your goal?
YES! I've gone beyond the surgeon's goal & have dropped a few lbs. below my goal weight occassionally
4. If you have not reached your goal, how far are you?
5. Anyone thinking of having plastic surgery?
Yes. I had full facial rejuvenation (brow lift, upper & lower eyelids, face & neck lift w/ chin augmentation) in March 2006. I will be having a LBL with muscle repair 6/27/06. I also plan to have BL/BA & arm lift after my son's wedding, probably in Jan. 2007.

Hi Pat,
1. I have lost 147 pounds since my surgery.
2. I am 5' 8" and I weighed 312 lbs before my surgery, this was my all time high.
3. Well... I would like to lose another 10 pounds, but am happy where I am.
4. Technically, I have reached my gola, but another 10 pounds would pleases me immensely.
5. Would like plastics, but cannot afford them and ins. won't pay. Need new boobs real bad, the others disappeared on me!

Hi Pat,
I agree with you, we have been vewy, vewy quiet! LOL!
Here are my stats:
1. How much weight have you lost to date? 180 lbs.
2. What is your height and starting weight before WLS? 5'7" and 367 lbs.
3. Have you reached your goal? No, I would like to get to 160 lbs. Dr said I would lose 80% of my excess body weight. That would be 194 - which I have passed by.
4. If you have not reached your goal, how far are you? I am currently at 187 but I will need a tummy tuck. Supposedly that will remove about 15 lbs of excess skin. So, that puts me approximately 15 lbs away from goal.
5. Anyone thinking of having plastic surgery? Definitely.

119 pounds(my scale)
2. What is your height and starting weight before WLS?
Height: 5'4" Weight: 271(my scale), 276(Dr's scale)
3. Have you reached your goal?
I reached my dr's goal of 160 but I haven't reached my goal of 150.
4. If you have not reached your goal, how far are you?
I am 5 pounds away from my personal goal, I was only 2 pounds away until I had PS.
5. Anyone thinking of having plastic surgery?
I had a Hernia Repair/ panniculectomy on April 25.

Hi Stacy! I have tried taking water pills and they have not really made any difference.
Did you have a rny? I'm not sure if it's because we don't absorb everything, and so that maybe the reason why the water pill doesn't get absorbed and work like it should.

can we use water pills for our water weigh? Doctor prescribed me seasonale pills which are a form of birth control to regulate my cycle. Thats what I am on them for. Factory is closed here. anyway, i have alot of water weight and I want to get rid of it with out stopping the seasonale. Can you enlighten me on the matter? Thanks and hugss to all. Hi Dianne! It was very nice to hear from you!!! I agree that this board has been very quiet. That was one of the reasons for my posting for updates. Also, I missed hearing from everyone that I got to know rigfht after our WLS.
You have done awesome with your weight loss!!! I am also glad to hear that you are well!!

1. I had lost 135 pounds, but I have put 5 back on. I am trying very hard to not gain any more weight. I need to kick up the exercise.
2. I am 5 feet 5 1/2inches tall and my starting weight was 259.
3. I am below goal. My goal was 142.
4.
5. I have thought about plastic surgery a lot. I had my gallbladder out in February and I really don't think I can handle another surgery yet. The cost is prohibitive right now also. But I keep thinking it would be so nice to not have the extra skin.
