Mary Ellen, Thanks for repling! I am getting in about 1100-1250 a day on average. Some days are alittle less. When I go to the gym I usually burn about 700-850 calories. I don't count calories everyday, just on occasion. I have counted calories more often though after I had the gain just to make sure exactly how much I was taking in.

Hi Heidi,
Your doing really well with your weight loss. When did you last have your blood word done? What did it say? You should definately contact the surgeon and request a CBC with platelets (blood work). There are medical conditions that would cause this to happen, just make sure that you have the results looked at by a Hematologist to see what the real problem may be. Make sure you tell the doctor what you've told us. Good luck

Topic: Watch Out!!!
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to add something that I've noticed about my darn weight loss stalls;
Most of the time when I've had a stall in my weight loss I've also noticed a lot of constipation. When this happens I add the natural stimulant, Senna. Of course I add more protein and water so I'm not sure which is the one thats really helping or if it's a combined effort.
Just thought I would share my thoughts since this is how I get a lot of my ideas. God Bless,

It never hurts to check with your pcp. I have alot of bruising on my legs too. Low iron for me. Please let you doc know and they can make the decision as to what it is though

I had surgery on Jan. 27, and have lost 87 pounds, I am glad to see we all are around the same pounds lost, I thought I was too slow, but I understand that everyone is different. Now I know that i am on track.
