Topic: RE: Help!!!!
Well according to my doctor I should have about 60 grams of protien a day. I get this in and like you I still feel crappy. I am tired allot. I had blood work done to make sure I am not low in Iron or B-12 and I am just a bit low on Iron, nothing to worry about. So I guess it is the road we are on right now. I must say I get jealous of those who are full of energy now
You should get your blood work done just to rule out any issues, better safe then sorry.

Topic: RE: Watch Out!!!
Hi Deanna,
I have to really watch the constipation as I just had emergency major surgery at the end of May for complete bowel obstruction from bowel strangulation caused by my old c-section scars. I just saw the surgeon today and he looked at my new ct scan and said I have to take a new medication because I have an abnormal amound of fecal matter in my bowels. They also suggested prune juice as they said that it can cause "dumping syndrome" and in small amound would help to create movement in my bowels.
Take care,
God bless,
Syndi
Topic: RE: Help!!!!
Hey Victoria,
I've been told approximately 60g but there are other factors that go into that equation, ex height/weight.
Here's a regular GOOD day when I'm eating correctly:
Dannon's low carb yogurt drink (Breakfast), I usually drink one Advantedge protein drink(snack), , eggs with cheese and 1 slice of wheat toast (Lunch or dinner), Chili or beef stew(lunch or dinner) and for snack I have a little popcorn or grahm crackers or sf something. Sometimes during the day I have to have a little something so I'll have a little fruit or peperoni and cheese minus the cracker. I try to drink constantly. Hope you've got some ideas, hope this helps. Everyone is so supportive and it the little things that always help us get through the tougher times, you've always been so supportive to the rest of us, Thanks.
God bless
Syndi
