Hi Chris,
Congratulations on the weight loss. I was 256 and am currently sitting at 152 so guess we're about the same. I am also getting the munchies at night and am trying to drink more and usually eat a little grahm cracker or soy crisps to help. I'm not so happy about the increased appetite that I'm experiencing. I've never tried sugar and don't want to as I'm scared that I'll love it. I go out to eat breakfast often but elect to have eggs with cheese, and really enjoy it. Sounds like you had dumping from the sugar, try asking for sf syrup or take it with you. I know that some places have it and some don't. Cracker barrell has sf jelly and it's really good.
Take care,
Syndi

Well 1st off i want to congrtulate all who have enters the Century club. I too made that goal earlier this month. I was 157 on my surgery date and as of today I am 152. I am just so thrilled to peices. I have not felt or looked this good for ages. I am a size 10. Which is totally awesome. I am a big girl and I carry my weight all over. All my co-workers keep asking me to stop, but my personal goal is 140-150. I wan to be able to stay within that range.
Now I have been having some concerns, like I get the munchies at night after dinner. I try to munch on healthy stuff, health choice fudge pops and their rasberry and cream pops. I also have to keep reminding myself to drink my water. That will take the edge off the craving. I do not like this craving stuff. I want ot be rid of it.
Now this morning Hubby treated me to breakfast. We went to IHOP and I had 2 harvest grain and nut pancakes, I did put a smidge of butter pecan syrup, and honestly a smidge, they were kind of dry (and believe me it was a total treat because I usually have a shake for breakfast. They were yummy.
About 30 min later I really did not feel so great. I am afraid that I had dumping syndrome. I had the hot and cold sweats and my adbomen was all crampy. I got home real fast and I was starting to regergitate, but nothing was coming up except the foamies. I crawled in to bed and there I stayed until it passed which was about 2 hrs. I have to say that, that was the 1st time I had that happen. Won't d that again. lol
Oh BTW that photo of me is awful I have sent a new one to the web team to have them put the new one up.
I am sorry for the long post but I just needed to share. Thanks
Peace n Light
Chris

Sandy,
Yes ... me too. It's not daily and I haven't been able to really link it to a particular situation but I was thinking it was my underwear waist band annoying it.
Oh I two would like to lose 20 lbs by end of December. Let me know if you get some good advices or suggestions. I don't know but when watching TV I still some times get sucked into the "loose 20 lbs in 2 weeks on ...??? You know the ones.
I was wondering if we should/can use diet type stuff - pills etc.
Topic: RE: Am I done?
Oh I hope I'm not done ... but it has slowed down so much that it does worry me abit. I'm still loosing so I'm good. I what I wonder is ... doc says I should be at my goal weight the first 12 months since I only had 100 to loose. I've lost 78 thus far. I read that the surgery has a solid success rate of 77% - so, I've reached that point YEAH!!!!!!!!! but I would really like to get the 100 off. So, I'm thinking okay........ I have 2 1/2 month for my year anniversary ... can it be done??? 22lbs more??? in 11 weeks? I don't think so. I've been MAYBE sometimes loosing 1lb a week ....
suggestions?? I'm open for some. I know it's not all about the number and be thankful for what've lost so far blah blah YES I feel better, look better but HEY I want FULL success. And Yes I know that full weight loss is 12-18 months but I understand I had a goal ... I would like to do what I can to get there in the 12 months.
Topic: RE: How much do you move?
I'm ashamed to say that I"ve been letting the surgery do all the work except I've been doing sit ups 3-4 times a week (80 of them each time with my ab roller). I know the weight loss has significantly slowed down and it's time to get the most of the tool that has been given me and do my part by doing some more.
