Topic: RE: 1 mo til 1 yr. still under 100lbs lost anyone else...
Hi Marti, I have not lost 100 lbs. I have lost only 87 pounds since my surgery date on 1/3/05. I am very pleased with my weight loss. My skin is not sagging on my stomach or legs. I realized that my weight loss was not a race or competition with others. Congrads on your weight loss. Remember this is a 16 to 18 month weight loss process. I look forward to the summer when all the weight will be off. January 2005-wearing a size 24 December 2005-wearing a size 10 Best wishes, Tammie G.

Topic: RE: Question again!
I have slowed down also, but I am not taking B/C. I think our bodies have reached their goal instead of our mindset goal. (those darn bodies) Have you increased your water intake, that helped me in October because my weight loss just stopped and when I increased my water the pounds came off. I also run at least 6 times a week, do you still exercise? Also has anyone noticed that eating is not painful anymore since the pouch is healed, I wonder if that is an issue also. We are not in pain or feel too full so we eat a bit more? I dunno please advise! Michelle keep up the good work you made it this far with success the skies the limit! Susan 260/130 at goal

Topic: BMI "Normal"
I just checked my BMI and it is normal for the first time in my whole life. I'm still in shock! Being overweight my whole life, I never thought I would ever be successful at weight loss and now I am. I pray that I keep it off. Take care God bless, Syndi

Topic: Be careful!
Just wanted to warn everyone to be extremely careful when eating nuts. I am just getting over an obstruction from some nuts I ate. It was more painful than the surgery I had to have for the bowel obstruction from scar tissue in May. It's still sore. Please make sure you remember to chew everything extremely well. God bless, Syndi
