I am not quite 15 months out and I must say its been an adventure! Just wondering? How many calories, carbs etc is everyone getting at this stage? My weight loss has slowed considerably, but not all together stopped. I only want to lose another 10 or so pounds. Drinking all my water and walking on the treadmill. Let us know how you are doing. Hi Rhonda, We have the same surgery date and started at almost the same weight, but you are ahead of me in weightloss. One of my problems has always been and continues to be getting in my water. I hate water and it gags me. I have been on a stall for a couple of months now, and it appears that the scale might be moving again. I haven't been great at tracking my food, but I tend to do high protein low carb type eating, and usually stay between 1200 and 1300 calories. I do better when I track my food. Sweets are still my demon, and have been for a long time. I don't know why I crave them more than ever. I wonder if it is because I am lacking something???I try and exercise 4 days per week. I still would like to lose 35 more lbs. We are doing great! Margo 334/313/195/160

Margo you are doing great. I was a sweet eater also. It tends to stick with us. I now eat sf pudding or sf ice cream and it seems to curb that want. I never drank water preop but now its like second nature. Rhonda 312/166/155?

Water grosses me out too..only drink it occasionally :P I like mixing kool-aid with splenda (guess I'm a kid at heart..lol) I tried to finish a 6oz cup of dannon...could not get it all down, so I know my pouch is not stretched. I also use the same size bowls to eat out of, and only fill it up so much. Whole wheat wraps and rice are the only carbs I like to eat..the rest is protein, beans, and veggies. My addiction: coffee! I can drink it all day...and I don't have a problem with retaining water...I'm like a sponge, lol. I must admit to craving sweets...and I do indulge in hard candies (peppermints..things like that) but if I eat them too quickly I get that yucky, burning sensation...and bye-bye craving.

You're doing great Rhonda~ Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't track my calories and carbs really~I just monitor what I'm eating, still measure my food, etc. It does get slower the farther I get post op. I'm at goal, but if I lose a few more that would be ok too. With the nicer weather I've upped my exercise so I might need to add a few more calories if I find I start losing again (beyond a few pounds). Tracy B 328/156 5'9"

Hi Rhonda I continue to track what I am eating. I am getting about 1200 calories a day. Water is still very difficult for me to get in. I do the best that I can. Often, I hit about 60oz, but not always. Exercise is my main problem. I had my gallbladder out last month and I have not been to the gym since before that. I really got out of the habit and now I find it is hard to go back. I fluctuate about two pounds and have been staying in that range since December. Dianne 259/126

I have been doing okay. Been dealing with a lot of head demons as we like to call them. I hit my goal for like 2 days and now I am stuck between 153 and 154. I am hoping this is the plateau that is going to lead up to my TT. He said I have to be at a plateau for at least 8-12 weeks. My surgeon said he wants me to lose another 20 pounds but I am truly happy where I am. Not sure what to do. I am in a size 10, but I used to be a size 18. So how can I complain. I am getting a ton of water in, but I do not track my calories daily. It was something that I vowed not to do after surgery. This is not a diet! LOL It is a lifestyle. No offense to everyone else. I had to have my gall bladder out last month, but otherwise doing really well. Suzanne 300/150
