What kind of food are you all eating. No menus required, just an idea of food that you are eating and are you maintaining, or gaining or losing. I am so proud of all my sisters and brothers in wls. God bless you all. You are all very special people. huuugggs

Stacy, I'm also trying to maintain but would like to lose at least another 15-20 pounds. I just had a TT and because I'm retaining water from the surgery, I guess I'll have to be patient until I'm further along post op. Here goes: 3-4 oz. of chicken, fish, shrimp, green salads, cooked vegetables that don't contain starch or too much natural sugar. I love my raw broccoli!! I make my own no sugar salad dressings. I'm still not eating any starch (rice, potatoes, bread, etc.). Sounds pretty boring, but I'm pretty much eating the same foods for the past 12 months+. I drink my protein shake for breakfast and will normally have either lunch or dinner depending on how I'm feeling that day. I still manage to drink about 120 oz. of water everyday. Hope this helps!! Aloha, Pat

Stacy I eat alot of the same things over and over also. Seems easier that way. I eat: Atkins protein bars, pancake(one once in awhilw), a slice of toast, eggs, a little lettuce salad, oatmeal, Kashi GO Lean cereal, cheese (and then some more cheese), most meats, sf pudding, nuts. I still cannot eat any pasta, makes me sick every time. Been trying to add a few more veggis in. Its hard though. I drink lots of crystal lite and i do have 2 cups of decaf coffee everyday. I was at a stall also, and upped my food for 3 or 4 days and now the weight is coming off again, I don't want to lose alot more, but maybe 10 or 12 pounds. Rhonda 312/166/155?

I love making chicken dishes (Jamaican curry chicken is one of my faves). It's traditionally served with rice, and I eat just a little mixed with the curry sauce. I add hot pepper and other spices to my food as well..I really want to taste each bite! At school, I usually get a whole wheat wrap with lean roast beef and veggies, or chicken breast and veggies...that usually lasts me all day. I'm also addicted to black coffee..and I know it isn't advised, but I don't loose water..if anything I retain it :P My joy of cooking has not left me, and anything I cannot finish I just give to my boyfriend, or put away for next time. I don't like to pu****the sick feeling I'd experience has taught me well. I also love shrimp..something that was too difficult to eat last year. Canned clams are an excellent source of iron..better than liver and really low in fat. I don't like the grit, but put up with it for the benifit of boosting my iron levels. I usually spoon out some in a bowl with soup. I drink lots of kool-aid and splenda...bu****er makes me feel blech.
