Thanks for sharing your pics. I wish I could get all of that plastics done when I go in. I also need my thighs done too. I can have the tummy tuck but they are unsure if my insurance will cover it because I do not have a hernia and I do not have a rash or anything underneath my skin. Oh well there is always wishful thinking. You are looking awesome!! Suzanne 300/153/150

Hi Mary!! Thank you so much for sharing your photos. You are looking wonderful!!! I am having a TT on March 6th and am getting a little scared because I know it is going to hurt much more than the lap rny. My plastic surgeon advised me against having my arms and thighs done because I told him that I always form really bad scar tissue after surgery. Even the little incisions from the lap rny have become red raised bumps on my stomach. But I in no way regret having the surgery. It has completely changed my life. He told me than he felt that I would be very unhappy with the results. I'm glad that he was upfront with me. I really appreciate you sharing the photos. At least now I can get a perspective of what to expect. I hope you don't mind me asking a few questions. How long were you in really bad pain that hampered you from any type of normal activity. How were you able to sleep, and what was the most comfortable position? Did you have a TT or a total body lift? I don't believe I will be having anything done to my backside this time. So would that be considered a TT instead of a total body lift? Were you in the hospital at all? My surgeon performs the surgery and than I will be coming home the same day. Ouch! I'm not sure about that!! Shucks, I did have a hernia before the lap rny and had it repaired, so my insurance will not be paying for my TT!! I thought it was fairly reasonable at $6,400.00. Take care of yourself and God Bless. I will keep you updated. Love and Aloha, Pat

Pat, I had no pain at all. Discomfort for sure but no real pain. I took things very slow when I got home and found sleeping OK with lots of pillows propped around me. I bought 2 large bean bag pillows which were great as you could move the beans around to where you didn't want pressure. I got them at penneys on sale for 9. ea. I took a total of 2 pain pills and then stopped as they made me nauscoius. I really didn't need them I had my surgery on Wed the 25th of Jan and was back to work 2 1/2 weeks later on 2/13. Belt Lipectomy, mons lift & muscle tightening; Bilateral Mastopexy, breast lift; Bilateral Brachioplasty, arms. In conjunction with insurance approved Panniculectomy. (My terms, Full lower body lift with muscle tightening& mons lift, Boob lift and arm wings clipped) ( I did not have implants). Surgical Fee: $11,500 - 1,150 (Multi procedure discount) = 10,350 (includes pre & post operative care) Hospital & Anesthesia charges: Facility 2,800, Anesthesia 1,352, Total 4,152. Total charge out of pocket is 14,502. Mary

Mary, Thanks again for sharing. I had emailed you before and you sent me your link. I did infact have my TT on 2/17 and still at home recovering. Your pics did help prepare me. I have had discomfort but not loads of pain. I wanted to go back to work but hubby says not until the staples are out which will be this Wednesday. It hasn't been bad. My surgeon has pulled it so tight I know complaining these first few weeks and or month but will be thankful the rest of my life.
