I wont lose anymore weight. I refuse to. Wont happen. I will be at this plateu forever. The eighteen month window will be closing in. I tried everything including excercise and no weight or size down for a month. Started at size eighteen and now at size 9. 255 start and now 180. I eat more, I eat less, I take in more protein and my only thing is I cant get the water down. Please help me get off the fence cuz I am hopeless. Huggs to all, Hopeless stacy
Dear take it easy, I know how you feel, belive me I know. I been working hard too and my weight is going up and down with the same 5 lbs for the last 3 months. But I am not going to quit and I am not going to let you quit . I know that the water is a plus, if you can have plain try with some flavor ( I can't plain water)Cristal light or lipton I ce tea ( they have now the sugar free) Iam 5'5 start at 265 and bouncing btw 165 and 170 for 3 months. I go to the gym everyday and still the same. But like I said before I m not going to quit. maybe you need to eat a little more, ( that I was my DR told me to do)
email me honey, we may help each other ok.
Hugs from Germany

I think a lot of us are actually going through this. I have been between 160 and 154 since December. I know that as time goes by it is getting harder to eat right with my schedule and with everything going on. I am down to 154 now and I am only 4 pounds from goal. It is very frustrating because I really want to hit my goal.
I try to get in a lot of protein daily and lots of water. I drink propel water, and lipton decaf iced tea. I usually buy the bags at the store and make the jug of it. If I am higer than normal I try to eat more fruits and veggies too. Just back to the basics of what we learned.
Hope that helps.

Stacy, We had surgery the same day, I can relate to what you are saying. I stopped losing from October until last week. I finally lost 8 lbs. I think our bodies get comfortable at a certain weight. I tried everything and then finally I thought "Oh He...." I guess I am done. Low and behold I finally lost again. And so will you!

I feel you! I have been at the same weight give or take a few pounds since december. I also feel like old habits are trying to creep in. I try and take one day at a time, and do what we were told, and try to keep the scale moving again. I still have 38 more lbs to go to get to goal. I think the water thing is important. I too have not been very good at drinking water because it tastes yucky. I will drink flavored water though and it is okay. Don't give up. It will happen. I am glad that we are no alone in this journey, and it seems like what we are going through is normal. Good luck and stay positive!

Hi everyone!! Sounds like we are all experiencing similar situations.
I haven't lost a pound since the end of December, 2005.
But I'm not giving up and don't you!! I still want to lose at least another 20 pounds, but my doctor did tell me that after the first 13-14 months it becomes very difficult. I'm only 5 feet tall and so I do not have the luxury of carrying extra weight like someone who is taller.
But we have all come to far to give up now!!! As for myself, I started at 261 pounds and am now 148 pounds. I'm having a TT on March 6, and I'm hoping to lose at least 10 pounds. For me this was the final step in completing my journey.
Let's all support each other and think positive!!!
Love and aloha,
Pat

Whenever I feel like that, I just look at old pics of myself or read my profile...the difference is so remarkable, I stop feeling mad at myself and count my blessings. I can walk without a cane...breath...sleep without a cpap machine...LIVE!
I don't know everything about your journey, but I understand the frustration and can relate, because we're all taking this trip together.
Shake off the blues and shake your size 9's in celebration!
