My One Year Anniversary!

Hey Everyone... Today I am celebrating my one year of freedom from food. I have officially lost 143 pounds. I am 7 pounds from goal! I have went from a size 26/28 on a good day to a size 12 pant, and size medium shirt. I used to wear a 3X. I tried on some of my old clothes and I was swimming in them. It has been a very emotional day for me. I keep remembering what I went through last year on this date to get to where I am right now. The pain, discomfort, lack of sleep, being in a weird place, and the uncertainty of it all. I am always lead back to how happy I am right now in this moment. I have done things within this year that I never thought capable. I was on a swing, I go bike riding again, I can sit on the floor and get easily, I have a job that I love and I can do without problem, I went camping and was not lazy the whole time and I weigh about 60 pounds less than my DH now. This has not been an easy ride. For those of you that are reading this that are pre-op, it is worth it in the end but there are rough moments. When you see the results you will love it. I have learned to love myself in a whole new way! I like myself, I look in the mirror more often, and clothes shopping is actually fun! I want to thank you my OH family for the support, and knowledge that you have given me this year. I have made friends off the list as well that I hope to stay friends with for years to come.
