Congrats to all of you. It has been one year today since my surgery. That year went so fast. I have only lost 78 lbs. I was hoping for 100 by now but have gained nothing so I guess that is good. I had major back surgery on 9/30/05 and am still not cleared for exercise yet. But I am feeling better than I ever have in my entire life. So I feel that 1/5/ is my "new " birthday. I started out at 273 and am holding at 195. I truly could not tell you when I last weighed 195. I haven't posted much at all but wanted to say congratulation to all of you that have had your surgery and good wishes for everyone waiting. It truly is a life changing operation. I have had no complications and no regrets. I just want to see the scale start moving again.

congratulations!! today is my "birthday" too. I have lost 135, but still have 40 more to go. We will get there, have faith. I am currently on one helluva plateau. Scale hasnt moved in over a month, so i know how you feel. I too feel great. 346/209/170

Happy annivesary and congrats on your success so far. Having major back surgery is definitely a reason for your loss slowing down. Things should start happening again once you're cleared to exercise. Take care! Mary Ellen 280/162/160
